You are a United fan. Why the fuck do u care? Ur team are winning all the time, getting to the CL final with that pig faced cuntbag Rooney, and life is all dandy for u.

He is a quality player, but he will fail here. I just feel it. Oh, and yes, I'm biased and bitter, because after last year's mercato I'd rather that we expanded our horizons and stopped this Italian obsession.
I'm not really caring that much, just defending a good player who is getting slaughtered.

Why would he fail here? He was a success in Spain, and a success in Serie A, 9 goals in 19 games for a 20 year old having a debut season in Italy is great, also being decent with the national team scoring 6 goals despite not playing regularly and he wasn't half bad in England. He had a good time in the best 3 leagues in the world and decent internationally, why would he fail here?

Rossi would be a great acquisition. There's really nothing more to say.

He is not the type of player to carry a team; I just don't see him being able to do that. Over and above, we sorely lack creativity, innovation, and invention. Rossi doesn't quite provide that.

He is Italian. I know Bastos plays in France too. However, how many of our current acqusitions have been from Serie A? Martinez? Pepe? Toni? Bonnuci? Rinaudo? Matri? Quag? Barzagli was another washed up Italian, so being drafted in from Germany doesn't really count. Krasic is the only key signing we made last summer that doesn't ply his trade in the peninsula. Shitbags like Traore don't really count, as they are not key signings, but just there to add up the numbers. As for Sorensen, we got lucky. It was a fluke signing, as Marrota clearly lacks an eye for talent.
So? You cannot compare him to Martínez, Pepe and Barzagli.

It was in reference as to why we are targeting him, even though is not currently plying his trade in Serie A.

I would be a fool to compare him to the 3 stooges you just mentioned, but as a player he doesn't bring the wow or excitement factor. He isn't on the same level as Tevez, Aguero, or even Neymar and Benzema. This is jut how I feel.

Rossi is as good as Aguero. Judging their time in La Liga.
Talent wise he's way behind Aguero. He's not anywhere near Pastore or Sanchez for talent. He's more effective than the latter two though.

Let's be honest this is Rossi's first good season in football and he's what 24? He went close to 6 months without a goal a few seasons back at Villareal. I'd take Pastore,Sanchez and Aguero over him no doubt.

You mean players we have no chance of signing according to some here, who apparently have happily adopted the "let's get whoever we can, since we can't get player A" mentality instilled in them by that loser douchebag sports director we have?!

Well Aguero to Madrid and Sanchez to Barca we will never compete with those two. Pastore we have a chance.

I think Quag is just as good as Rossi if not better.

His best season in football sure, but definitely not his first 'good' season.

Villareal, let's keep in mind the laughable defences here.

2007-2008 37 games 13 goals - Fantastic season

2008-2009 39 games 15 goals - Fantastic season

2009-2010 46 games 17 goals - Fantastic season

Those are quite laughable for a bloke who plays CF.

I might get flak for it  , but i believe Rossi would be most beneficial to the team.

Before somebody say, OMG !! You're an Italian fanboy. You believe in mediocre players. No, I'm far from being fanboy of Italy. I just believe in buying an effective & efficient player over raw talent(By the way, Rossi my not be as talented as the others big name strikers out there, but you can't deny he isn't good at getting the job done.)

Not my fault i believe in that idea.
