Reports from Spain that we have yet to make an official bid for Rossi. It is thought that whilst we have agreed personal terms, Villarreal executives have no intention of selling him for less than €30m.

Speculation there suggests that, like Aguero, the asking price is simply too high and that we are probably unwilling and/or unable to proceed at this figure.

Which contradicts the press reports that included Conte being quoted as saying that his arrival would be positive for Juventus.

If we'd had signed, I don't know, maybe Suarez for example last season I'd be fapping by brains out with excitement of having Rossi coming to us. But now that we have nothing? Naahh..

Juve yet to make Rossi move

Juventus have made no significant move to sign Giuseppe Rossi, the Villarreal striker’s agent has noted.

Reports yesterday suggested that the Old Lady had basically agreed personal terms with the Italian and now just had to convince his Spanish club to sell.

While Federico Pastorello admitted contact with the Bianconeri, he insisted that there was nothing concrete.

“Juventus have made enquiries, as have other clubs,” Pastorello told Sky Spot Italia.

“I’m not a Juventus official and all that I will say is that Rossi could be a transfer objective of theirs seeing as they are looking for a striker.

“We can talk about it, but it is all hypothetical at the moment.

“Rossi is content at Villarreal and he has a good contract. He’s not desperate to leave at all costs. We are calm about everything.”

Nevertheless, the agent did confirm reports that he will be heading to Spain in the next few days to talk to Villarreal.

“Yes, that’s true,” he added. “I’m going to Villarreal on Friday to discuss the situation.

“There are a number of clubs who are interested and any decision will be taken in agreement with Villarreal.”

The Liga outfit value Rossi somewhere in the region of €30m. It’s understood that Juve are now targeting Rossi after signing Atletico Madrid ace Sergio Aguero proved too expensive.

Well whaddaya know?

People, wait until the Copa is over. That is when we find out whether we sign Aguero or Rossi. Aint nothin' happening now.
Obviously:agree:

People should forget about them now because all the action will be in the last week of transfer windows. Now is the process of boring statements but no action.
