The worst sales man of all time.

Couldnt sell Higuain without having to include Caldara for Bonucci and loan with option to buy.

Thats pretty pathetic.

His selling is linked with his buying, most often the sale of the player is problematic because of the conditions we agree on when we sign players, f.e. buyback clause on Morata, agent fee for Pogba, or crazy 5 year contract and massive fee for Higgy. Gonzalo's real price in this market is way lower than what we needed to cover the books, so Beppe had to improvise :D

That's not how it works.

The market dictates what's possible or not, not your or anyones fantasies.

If no one wants Higuain, no one wants Higuain and you have to get creative. No manager in the world can make a player more valuable by being "a good salesmen".

Ultimately 54m under those circumstances for Higuain is a great deal (and yes he'll be bought by Milan, this deal is structured the way it is for FFP), the issue was buying him to begin with for a giant fee, despite his age and the predictability of his immediate value loss.

Plus this deal needs to be seen in the context of the Ronaldo signing. If Ronaldo doesn't arrive, we wouldn't sell Higuain. Signing Ronaldo was a special opportunity that no one could predict, leading to special circumstances, which leads to this Caldara-Bonucci-Higuain deal.

We, the fans, get lost in the details and ignore the big picture, failing to see the forest for the trees.
We created a super team out of nowhere, without the financial muscles to keep it. That resulted with the loss of Vidal, Morata, Pogba, and others. Yet we created another super team, but now with much better financial stability. On the way we are forced to make different sacrifices, but not as big as losing our best players.
It seems to me that we are close to a time where we will be able to buy Ronaldo and still keep Higuain - to have a super team with financial muscles to keep it intact, and even upgrade it.

The forum will become much more boring, though :D

It should be noted here that aside from Higuain, no one else from the starting XI was sold. And the person we replaced him with just happens to be in the Mount Rushmore of the greatest to ever play.

We improved at every single position on the pitch, even at MF with getting Can for free.

If someone told you at the beginning of the transfer season that we would get CR7, Bonucci, Can, Perin, and Cancelo, and only give up 1 starter (Higuain), and 1 CB prospect who had yet to play for us (Caldara), how many of you would HONESTLY say "you know what? I'm good. Thanks anyway".

Im talking about tgis latest transfer Panucci-Caldara-Higuain
Ok, so you are with this amazing Super model, and she gets naked for you. Amazingly beautiful face, great tits, killer waist, a perfectly coiffed Vagina that can sing opera, amazing legs......

She is an 11/10 all around so far

And then you get to her feet, and she has a bunion the size of Tokyo.

Are you still kicking her out of bed?

Are you going to just forget what you had seen up until that point, because of her feet?

Marotta is very decisive again.
He is not afraid to make a hard decision along with Paratici

Everytime there is a news like we sign C. Ronaldo or this Higuain-Caldara-Bonucci saga. He is fast to finish and move on.

This saga is truly controversial and not popular including me. But He made it

We will see the result this season, and I guess we will also come out as winner in this deal

Agree. He is not that good when it comes to sell. I always feel we always sell undervalued.

But Marotta always move very fast when dealing. He is not like Napoli when they sell Jorginho and Chelsea when they want to buy Rugani, Higuain or even last year when they end up with Zappacosta and Drinkwater. They spend lots of time thinking, and indecisive
