Imagine we finish with Paredes and Witsel. The apocalypse would seem calm compared to the Tuz meltdown.
You just know a brainfart has to happen. Fucking Witsel to replace Paul motherfucking Pogba.

That's why the only way we should've given up Paul was in player exchanges. Can't trust these guys with Pogba money when there are no quality alternatives available.

People have always been wondering how will he spend sudden influx of cash. Finally got their answer: paying the maximim price for a striker in his peak. Cant say I'm impressed.

It's too easy to see this deal as a like for like. The mercsto needs to be looked at in the context of a bigger picture. There are still some recruits to come, and if he gets the replacements for midfield right, you maybe looking at a very solid team foundation to build on moving forward. Though I am not liking the first round of names as Witsel being associated as Pogba replacements. Faaaaaaarkkkkkkk.

The issue is I don't see that many great CMs available atm. Herrera would probably be the best for us all things considering, he's that dynamic/agressive type of mid we lack. We'll probably have some 40-50m to spend and I hope we make the most out of it. Seeing that Pogba was most likely sold several weeks ago if not months, I think we have already lined up someone and will be announced few days after Pogba is officially gone.

Contrary to popular opinion, i have a hunch we have snapped up an AM too. So to me it's a CM plus AM deal. And we have a young CM/DM Kovacic loan type deal in the works.

We have essentially replaced Pogba + Morata with Pjanic + Higuain. We lose out a lot of marketability in the former but it hasn't weakened us in terms of going for the CL at all. Winning CL alone >>>>>>> any player marketability.

Can't believe we have a world class striking pair and an actual creative midfielder in his prime now. These were the things we were sorely lacking in past teams which in general was Juve's achilles heel over the past few years.

Beppe finally listened to me about stacking the squad with flair and fancy.
