Sure it happened to pay off this time but let's be realistic here. Do u honestly expect Sturaro to do that every time he comes on?

We need more options in attack, the fact Sturaro came on and scored was nice but he's not going to do that all the time.
Sturaro is a solid option. Infact he's exactly the level I'd expect our subs to be.

:agree:

Still young-ish too.
You don't want flashy technique players to be your subs. You want guys who will come in and cover up their shortcomings with elbow grease. Plus Stefano has already equalised against Bayern and saved a Rodriguez goal against Madrid last year. He's our backup and I'm glad about that.

are oscar, hazard, mata, silva, etc going to score or assists every time they face munchen, madrid and barcelona?

Marotta still deserves criticism from last mercato imo. Our subs were Sturraro and Hernanes when we are losing.

Hernanes although he had a good game should not be anywhere near a team with the calibre of Juve.

We need attacking players who can win us games.
Oh look what crawled out of the sewage tank

Morata and Sturaro were subs. One gave an assist and the other scored. Sit the fuck down peasant.

All I'm saying is the players Allegri has to bring on to change matches are no where close to the level of the better teams.

It's an area the management needs to look at and try improve.

Realistically who is going to be scared of Sturaro and Hernanes?

Sturaro will probably turn out to be a good player for us but our options are still mediocre so far.

Morata is the only player who can come on and really make a contribution in an attacking sense imo.

You have a point considering the bench of our opponents (Xabi, Ribery, Götze, Coman etc), it's the kind of level we need to get to, but it's a wrong game to critique this as the others said tho. But we will gradually keep improving our bench. As we have done. Compare to few years ago and now, where we have likes of Alex Sandro, Rugani, Cuadrado, Morata, Zaza, Pereyra and yes even someone of Hernanes's profile on our bench on any given game. That's progress.

We have decent players but I just don't see anyone who will come on and win the game.

We have a bunch of strikers and some midfielders and defenders but nobody that can run at defenders and cause serious problems.

Cuadrado is mostly a starter now he is probably the only one who can do that, I think we need more players like him that just cause chaos when they start running at a tired opposition defender after coming on.

Basically we need more wingers and attacking midfielders to really trouble the better teams.

We are pretty much a team that just grinds results through hard work and organisation which Is not a bad thing but we definitely lack some flair players.

Do we though? Their bench is a byproduct of their extremely attacking playing style. Our style is more rugged and our bench maybe doesn't have as many finess players as they have but surely fits our philosophy and what we're trying to do

There is a clear difference of style. But its also clear that we dont have quality consistent AM or AMs because of our inability to get em in this current market. Thats why we took Cuadrado on loan at last minute and have Hernanes. Heck we couldnt get one of Bayerns bench players Götze exactly for that reason. Its not lack of trying for sure. But its a monetary and appeal issue (for the league in whole more so then us in particular).

Our depth is ok, but i think we should not tryt o cover the sun with our fingers and pretend we cant do better.
We need to find players who can up our game and thats a fact. We need to be precise and consistent in attack, because grinding and waiting for miracles to happen will not take us to the next level.

we need attackinb players who also has grinta and speed. otherwise they just make our intensity low.
 IMO, we got to the point were we need to really sign top class players, otherwise we will get stagnated in where we are. Our players are not bad, but are not top drawer material in attack.

In short, we need more fluidity in our attack from the midfielders... players that have an eye for goal and assist. Pogba is our only real technical player in midfield, and the guy is failing to fulfill the inventive quota. Not because he cant but because he seems to be not clear how to do it.

Also a prolific CF is needed. I dont know if our forwards are not good because we kind of suck in building up chances for them, or because we simply dont have good enought forwards. Tevez was top class and scored a lot. So maybe we lack quality there too.

Any player we get has to be good in tight spaces.

Otherwise they will get rofl stomped in Serie a. Fact.
We are okaish with our workhorses in serie A, but we need more attacking prowess. Better build up. More decisive players.
