Im not saying that the clause doesnt make sense, what im saying that doesnt make sense is that morata would be able to just say “i dont want to return“ and we are ok and keeping him.

IMO he should have no say on that clause, otherwise madrid would lose millions on this deal, selling him to us for 20 mils when in fact he is more valuable.

Because of this I dont think we will be able to say no when madrid exercise the clause
Morata has no contract with Real Madrid. He is under contract with Juventus, with an agreement that we cannot reject a €30m offer for him if they make it.

That doesn't mean that Morata has to go though. Morata could refuse to enter into negotiations for a contract because, as stated, he has no contract with Madrid. Only with us. It'd be different if he was loaned or co-owned, but we own him outright.

Just before we got him he signed a new contract with them.

I don't think he does have a say, legally speaking.

I could be wrong, but I don't think it'd be legal by FIFA and UEFA for him to hold a permanent contract with two clubs at once.

I'm not saying he would reject Madrid, but I don't think they can force him to return, given they sold him to us outright.

I dont think its the same. Berardi is not tied to us officially in any way... but Morata is tied to a clause. I know a lot of peeps here say that if morata dont want to return, then we are ok... but i would like someone to explain to me this deal as im not convinced it is all on morata´s hand.

I mean...madrid did that clause because a reason. They didnt sold morata to us cheaply..just to be wrecked by some weird loophole in the clause. We are talking about millions. IMO, if they want to excercise the clause, there should be no way to impede it, not by juve nor morata....otherwise that clause would make zero sense if would be so easy to nullify.

If after called back, Morata asks to leave madrid is another matter... but IMO i dont think that this clause could be wipped just by morata´s will.

And about us giving the 10 to Pogba...sadly we had little say on this. We could have gone like "no way son, you have to earn it..." but then we would risk getting him upset and we all know that juve will do everything it takes to keep him, including giving him the 10.

When he leaves it will be a shame tho...lets hope it doesnt happen so soon..but i expect it to happen not so far away.
Dimarzio already said many times it also depends at morata's hand. If dimarzio can not explain that to you, how could people on tuz can explain that?
If morata do not have a say, why did marotta give him extension?

Anyway, i do not get madrid would lose millions in this deal.
They get 20 millions, buy back clause and % of sale.
They have all.
Losing him is risk when you sell player to another club.
If madrid does not want losing morata, they should just loan him not sell him.

And in 2014, who did say morata was more valuable than 20 millions with buy back clause?

" There are 2 reasons why you would change a coach: Because the team is doing bad or because it is the end of a cycle. Allegri is doing well and he is at the start of his cycle, this is why both parties want to keep on going together. I don't think he will find a bigger team than us and this is also why there are all the premises for a renewal. Conte ? We aren't thinking of Conte since we have a great coach in Allegri ".

Transfer Market ? "We wont sign many players in the summer because we will give our youth a chance to develop. Our intentions are to keep Pogba , like we did last year even if there were multiple offers. In all cases, the player's will is very important , like with Vidal last year for example. Arturo wanted to go to Bayern since they were offering much more money and we couldn't rival the offer he had received. Gundogan? It is easier to keep Pogba. Even if he wanted a move, I don't think he would choose the Italian league".

Berardi ? " I can't guarantee at a 100% that the player will join us since like i've said, the player's will is very important. Morata ? We want to keep him but it is up to Real Madrid" .
I tought its up to Morata... :S

Marotta still deserves criticism from last mercato imo. Our subs were Sturraro and Hernanes when we are losing.

Hernanes although he had a good game should not be anywhere near a team with the calibre of Juve.

We need attacking players who can win us games.

Silly post. You do realise Sturaro scored the equaliser right? How exactly are you judging the depth signings, when both of these players (who are clearly second choice) both had a very positive impact on the match? And this isn't Sturaro's first good performance in the CL either.

Sure it happened to pay off this time but let's be realistic here. Do u honestly expect Sturaro to do that every time he comes on?

We need more options in attack, the fact Sturaro came on and scored was nice but he's not going to do that all the time.
