I agree that after Tevez went, we needed an SS type of player and Dybala was a good choice, only thing i said that many people would argue that we needed an Isco/Goetze/Draxler... type of signing more than a Dybala. Not only because they are better player right now but Allegri specifically requested an AM. And Yet Marotta still cant give him one.
That the problem i have with people defending Marotta, us winning the Scudetto or anything else doesnt mean he did a good job, i'll give more credit for Allegri like i did with Conte because of that.
He should present the manager with the best possible team that fits his needs and tactical choices and if he fails and the manager had to do something else to accomodate the new personnel and go on to win, i think the majority for the credit should be given to him.
I am not saying that Marotta didn't do a good job last years, but it seems that the Vidal sale was not given enough tought and ruined what could 've been a perfect mercato. We made the CL final last year, we have money, we have the prestige and we needed to cement our place as a top european team but it seems the management wants to start from scratch right now.

If he personally requested gotze and drax before even the mercato started...is almost sure that we will miss both of them. At this point..one of the 2 should have beenin our team weeks ago.
If that player was so detrimental to our formations, he should have been the priority from day one, together with dybala (tevez replacement). if they needed to overpay a little for one of those..then do it. If allegri was demanding draxler..pay for the man and then make allegri responsible for it. But give the man his request so he has no excuse.
What i do not want to see, is Juve signing anyone just to not look bad. They already are looking bad, so leave things as they are instead of worsening the situation.

Maybe, but then thats our mistake too. We should have secured the AM first, and then, if khedira and the rest injured..then we could have started to search any kind of replacement for them, which is easier. I mean, its easier to find physical DMs, which there are a lot...than find AM fantasistas.

this seems fair enough, it's the impression that I have on Marotta as well.
Great at signing players, but not so much at getting rid of them. His exit strategy we surrender our players far too easily. Look at how Man Utd are dealing with De Gea at the moment, if Real Madrid want him so badly they must come chasing after ad not the other way round.

Ibra is fantasy. It isnt easy finding Juventus calibre players, regardless of their economic evaluations. Lets see what will happen in the coming days.

Like I said before its not an economic issue, it is about finding available players who are Juve calibre. In this moment, players that will aid our cause are really....maybe no one. So raising the bar on the economic offer who aren't at our level, this is an evaluation that we will make very attentively. So this improvised arrival of a "tesoretto", as it is being called, will not shift our objectives.

Huge Beppe fan and that will never change, but he has commited one terrible mistake this mercato: Zaza.
Let's say we have around 25-30 million now, to spend on an AM. Which isn't enough.
Then it appears to me that the real blunder was buying Zaza for 18 mill. Those 25-30 mill + the "Zaza money" would be enough to get us that AM, but now it's impossible.
