Martinez, Motta and Isla were his biggest failures. Matri did some good things for us, Pepe also and for Pereyra it is too early to judge. Also Giovinco and De Ceglie showed some potential but failed to do an impact. Evra and other "panic buys" had little to no transfer fee, but considerable wages which is ok-ish.
Vidal, Pogba, Barzagli, Lichtsteiner, Asamoah, Pirlo, Tevez were just :ID:
So, how would Marotta spend the 100 million euros we would get for Pogba?
I think it would look like this: 35 million euros on Candreva, 25 million euros on Parolo, 20 million euros on Eder and 20 million euros on Bertolacci.

If we got €100m I doubt we'd even spend all the money. There would definitely be a €30m+ signing but maybe only one, and another €20m+. Probably a CM and a CF to replace Tevez long term. €15m would go on another Bonucci-range central defender

Both who would be on insane wages. Forget about transfer fees, we just can't compete with oil clubs and Madrids/Barcas and the likes when it comes to wages.
