You think if we changed director they would bring us susperstars and we'd be spending 30 plus mil on players?

hopefully we get a director who understands that the money that we do have should go towards trying to improve the team and not Udineses bank account and our bench.

I don't think Marotta's philosophy is what will take us to the next level. Beppe is already CEO and sporting director(only one in Italy with those 2 roles, I think), keep him away from the signings and have him being full time CEO.

Different types of deals. Mota and Isla were co-own, while Pereyra is on a loan. There's nothing that will oblige us to make a deal permanent if he remains disappointing.

Allegri wanted AM, since he believes this team has all the requirements for sucessful implementation of 4-3-1-2, needless to say that it was his preferred formation in Cagliari, Milan, etc.... Shaqiri cannot play at that role adequately and Sneijder at that spot can offer infinitely more. Perfectly reasonable to give Allegri players with characteristics that he needs for his system.
Motta was initially loaned.

So were a lot of players like Quagliarella, Pepe, etc.

The point is not the position Sneijder plays. It's the fact he's actually more expensive than Shaqiri, due to very high wages, is an old washed up injury prone player who won't have any chance of being sold and give some value back to Juventus.

And actually I think we have a much greater need for aggressiveness and quickness than for (slow) creativity that Sneijder would offer. Our team is already slow enough and Sneijder would only add up to that slowness. No problem will be solved.

From the looks of it, we tried lowballing sneijder, Gala didnt want to, so we told them to fuck off.
Good. I wouldnt have mind sneijder comming, and i wouldnt mind if he didnt came. As long as its on a very low deal so i'm pleased we arent overpaying

And actually I think we have a much greater need for aggressiveness and quickness .

Mkhitaryan on the other hand...

How's signing Sneijder going along? If I'm not mistaken you're positive that it's a done deal.
Marotta got owned on that deal as well :lol2: not that I was with it, I am happy it failed but it is also another failing point to the Marotta record. It is good for me on two fronts.
