Picked up the phone, went on a plane, started negotiating with them Marotta style. Smoothtalked Branca into making a deal that substantially favoured Juventus, which infuriated the inter tifosi and brought on events that exposed Thohir as a spineless coward. Also resulted in a breakdown in the relationship between Guarin and the club.

It still makes sense. They came asking for Vucinic, and then he talked Branca into making a deal that favoured us big time, involving Guarin. The rest is golden troll history.
