That's very interesting that Marotta could conceivably get a 10/10 from you when only a short while ago you said he was incapable of signing big stars, it was beyond him, he could not take us to the next level and needed to be replaced. How do you go from that to a potential 10/10? You were obviously way off base in your initial assessment of him. Too bad you didn't realize it sooner...would have prevented many, many overlong posts.
Miracles happen my friend, Marotta has failed again and again and thats a fact.
This is not what i wished for, not what i wanted to see, not what i was hoping for, but unfortunately he did did so.
I set my priorities before the transfer window opens.
I ask for simple things, realistic things imo, and expect us to make an efford to try them, or at at least avoid repeating the same mistakes.
Marotta let me down because he was repeating the same mistakes over again and over again and he was failing to acquire our primary targets again and again.
So realistically i only expected from him, more of the same...
And this season again, i posted my requests before the transfer window.
But now Marotta has accomplished our primary targets and if we follow the rumors, he will also settle the secondary ones!!

Why the sudden change you ask, i have yet to find an answer.
Maybe he has consulted someone special, like Moggi.
Maybe Conte demanded all that to extend his contract.
Maybe Marotta has matured and learned from his mistakes.
Or maybe all of them together.

I am gratefull for whatever be the reason.
And i always try to be realistic, i know that Juventus has limits and Marotta has his limits.
So i rate his choices, rather than my dream targets.
Some may hold back the 10/10 to see if we can get Jovetic or Messi, or whatever, but i consider this beyond Marotta's reach.
Heck even Higuain too, so i only ask of him what it can really happen and as long as he does that, i am pleased!
MAybe this is sounds like making compromises, but after experiencing so many horrible transfer seasons under Secco and Marotta, so many elementary mistakes made, so many millions wasted away, i am very glad to see for a change that for once, we had a plan and managed to follow it!!

And my judgement on Marotta will remain the same till the next transfer window, regardless of how these players will cope.
They are relatively established and healthy when we buy them.
If an injury happens, it wont be MArotta's fault, neither if the coach fails to use them to their strenghts, or if they just fail to comply for personal reasons.
Marotta's job is to provide the tools and once he has done his job right, one must give him credit for that.

Unlike many of his blind followers, with the very sort memory, that forgot how hard he failed in the past transfer windows and which were our feelings then for his incompetence, i dont forget!
Everything has been erased, in their mind, by Conte's ability to compensate, and get the results we wished for, even with the handicaps imposed by MArotta's incompetence.
And they digracefully praised Matotta for setting such handicaps to conte's work, instead of giving the credit to Conte and an extra credit considering the handicaps.

For example the past two years we were in a dare need of a finisher.
This is what we lacked the most and some decent quality depth in the center of the defense to rotate with a our starter 3.
These striking weaknesses were helding us back and we could not compete with the strongest teams, no matter how hard Conte and our players work.
Everybody could see that. We were ready for the next step, but Marotta was just making random transfers.
Some of them were proved to be good opportunity targets, but they did not strenghten us where it was needed the most.
It was imperative to buy the proper tools and this summer Marotta just did that, if we further improve in the coming season, at those sectors, we will have Marotta to praise for that!
Of course, and the players who will perform and the coach who will calibrate them and the board that provides with the necessary budget.
But all the rest was present last year and all we lacked was what the transfer director ought to bring in the table!

Thats why it has become of extreme importance to see us grow stronger!
The dicisive step was now made, there is still work to be done, but at least now we stand a change to do great!

There is no reason for me to be hater, i do not personaly hate him, i just dont want to see my favourite team suffer from his incompetence.
As long as he performs, he will gain my praise, as long as he fails, i shall criticise him.
It is simple as that...

Great post  100% right!

Even without a LWB I won't complain but with a LWB/LB like Kolarov it would be a true 10/10 mercato.

It's more like jumping to false conclusions and reporting them as fact before the experiment is completed, instead of waiting until the experiment is completed and getting all the proper facts and data.
That's called the hypotheses....

The criticism he copped in the weeks leading up to the Tevez transfer was absolutely ridiculous.
Without a doubt.

Miracles happen my friend, Marotta has failed again and again and thats a fact.
No, that is not a fact my good man. That is your opinion.

Why the sudden change you ask, i have yet to find an answer.
The answer is simple. Your initial assessment of his abilities was way off the mark.

That's called the hypotheses....
Drawing conclusions and stating them as fact before the outcome of the experiment is not a hypothesis.

Good post crondollar man.

We need to keep our feet in the ground when speaking about marotta.

No hyper worshipnesss, but also, no over the top critics.

Hello my dear friends

At the evening of the Tevez transfer, i realised the comming apotheosis would render my role usefull for a while, so i took a welldeserved 4 weeks vacation, whilst having the pleasure of insulting the crap out of B81 in the proces.

I checked in now and then, with a smile on my face that got bigger and bigger, seeing people around the world realise that marotta is gods blessing to juventus, and see them gather around in these forums.

I welcome all the old and now brothers, with the most sincere respect and friendship, and look forward to the dazzeling preseason, made possible by the fantastic signings the great man made, once again.

Don't get yourself banned again Zach. Stay around.
But it was part of the great plan.

At the evening before the big signing, an informer of the great man told me that the salvation was comming, and i was allowed to rest.

Cause you know, 4 weeks without a signing will create mad peasants, demanding a 30mil jovetic

I'll be here, waiting
