Marotta droppign quite the hint there, this was a massive interview.

So as we are all aware, nedved is pushing for zlatan, and so far marotta shot it down each time, saying he wouldnt sign him.

He didnt say that this time, instead he hinted that only the wages are the problem, and if he'd take a big enough cut "many teams would be interested". offcourse meaning juve.

this is the first time marotta confesses intention to sign zlatan at reduced wage.

“The Coach and club are in sync, so we’ll discuss the strategy together after the end of the season. We’ll try to make him as happy as possible, but we are still administrators of a business and in financial terms Italian clubs are having trouble competing with the European giants.”
Yeah riiiiiiight! By signing the likes of Diamanti and Poli I guess.
I bet if the cyclops goes another mercato signing these mediocre sh!tes which make Juve look stupid in europe, Conte's gonna say fvck this! and leave at the end of next season.

Raiola hinted that while Nedved wants Ibra the others at the club don't seem as keen. Clearly referring to the men handling transfer policies. cos I'm pretty sure Conte would want him.

Raiola doesn't see eye to eye with Marotta (no pun intended)

Remember his interview two years ago? Hopefully the two will put matters behind them and bring ZI to Juve :tuttosport:

I wonder why that is though. Iirc he had spoken about Marrotta's lack of ambition in that interview. This time he spoke about not even crossing the bridge once they get ther because the bridge hasn't even been constructed.

Apparently Conte and Marrotta aren't getting along either. Clearly, it would be interesting to see if Marrotta's contract would be renewed.

There's no excuse this season for a quality player though. He can make all the excuses he wants but if we end u with a Diamanti type player at the end of it, then he should be released. No doubt about it.

I don't how how Conte & Marotta's relationship is, but I think at the end of the day they would have to put their differences behind them. I think Marotta's contract will be renewed, because he is CEO at the club. Don't think Agnelli & Elkann are willing to let Marotta go to please a coach who might even not stay here longer that 3-4 years (let's face it, Marotta has done well on the financial part, most of the credit on the sporting success goes to Conte)

I remember Raiola said: "Marotta? I only speak to the technical director, Paratici. For me, he runs the club. I don't even know why Marotta is there" :D

Marotta will end up being the full time CEO of the club, and Paratici will be the new DS.

The question will then be who will Juve get to take over the scouting department.
