I see alot of moratta bashing and have no idea why? We are in the quarter finals and sweeping through serie a in his 3rd year when we were 7th twice and almost everyone starting he brought in. Yes shitty strikers he brought but also he understands you build from the back and thats what he is doing. Buying a good striker takes up alot of the transfer buget and could be better spent on team building. The core of our team is half Moggi/youth and half Moratti. No one that secco brought is worth a damn outside of Bon Bon so give him this mercato to bring in LLorente and another striker and then judge. Its so annoying to hear the bitching about bringing in overpayed mids and strikers year after year and no one on defense. Then this guy has brought players to make us top defense in europe and definately italy and we complain more that he has only brought Asamoah, Lichsteiner, Pirlo Barzagli, Pogba, Vidal and is cutting alot of wages doing this. Also our mid is great and he got pogba and pirlo free with vidal cheap.

Marotta has done an excellent job. If you look at position wise, the only 2 positions that aren't covered with 2 players are the RCB (Barzagli) and CVM (no real replacement for Pirlo). We just need backups for the two, meaning we shouldn't spend too much for these spots. Having said that, i understand the disappointing of the Juve fans concerning the striker position and the incompetence (up until now) of Marotta in landing this top striker. And yes, for us to make the step forward in quality, we simple need an improvement upfront on our current strikers. However, this doesn't mean that we have to invest in that player with all the money we have. There will be a sum available and it needs to be spend wisely.

Agreed but up until this point we needed 3-5 players every mercato where now we dont and therefor can spend some money there. All im saying is he knows what wins and has built it. Now if he continues to neglect the strike position in the next transfer window and past I understand your argument but he realizes the need and already has LLorente. with 40 mil we could have a great mercato plus some of that can be recouped through sales. On top of that our team is significantly younger

And yes we dont have a replacement for Pirlo but I think Pogba will fill the role as really there is no players of his quality out there. You really have to change a bit to replace him. Cant plug just any passer into his role without realising other players duties will change. Such as marchisio and Vidal going up more due to his potential prescence defensively
