There's a difference between hate and criticism. He has done well and deserves praise, but he is not without flaws/faults and beyond criticism as some would have us believe.

I appreciate the work he has done, but I still believe there is room for improvement.

Juventus have done incredibly well, but considering the state of the league and competition, a little perspective is required.

Hold on. Considering the "state of the league" shouldn't he be given more credit for bringing in the players he's brought in, and our very good European run so far?

People like underrtating Serie A here, even in its "weakened" state it's still one of the toughest leagues (especially tactically) in the world of football. Not a cakewalk AT ALL.

Yes and No. The weaker competition shouldn't diminish our accomplishments, but having a strong Milan and Inter would have made the league far tougher and more interesting, and subsequently more appealing to "star" or "top" players.

However, he does deserve credit and praise for acquiring the players he did (but let's be fair, in the sense that both Pogba and Pirlo were on a free) but with the exception of Vidal, he didn't acquire any exceptional players outside of Serie A.

We won the league last season (undefeated) and competed with and eventually overcame a pretty strong Milan team along the way. You'll find pretty much every top league in Europe only has 2 (max 3) top teams and the rest range from good to mediocre to shite. The EPL, Bundesliga and La Liga are no different to Serie A in this respect.

He's built one of the strongest teams in Europe on a tight budget. We've strengthen our base significantly and given we are to become regulars in the CL again, you can expect to see more high profile purchases the complete the time in due time. He deserves massive credit - Conte too obviously, who is the true top player for our team.

I'm not denying him the credit he deserves, but a bit more perspective and objectivity is required when assessing his accomplishments.

One thing I do give him massive credit for (along with Paratici and the scouts) is how there's been a huge focus on youth and a sizable portion of the budget allocated to acquiring promising young players

Cool.

I just don't like when people seemingly brush aside our teams achievement last season - no matter what league a team plays in, winning a title undefeated is always a marvellous achievement. Winning breeds winning.

Now hopefully we will become undefeated champions of Europe soon :)
