Well im with having faith in Conte, I honestly belive conte can do better than his predecessors, even with a pretty much depleted defence. We can seriously get 5th.

Also, I was wondering if we could close this thread? This guy doesn't deserve to be spoken about at Juventus. He's a pathetic, intellectually innocent individual with nothing but a large sugarcane instead of a spinal column, that has entered his system through the nether regions and allows him to grin a plastic smile, with his perfect dentures, all the while not realising that if he shat the sugarcane out, he wouldn't be numbed by the pain and would just maybe be able to see straight again with aligned eyeballs, without the need for surgery - because that will be pretty fruitless. Given that he'll only get a sixth or seventh choice doctor to operate on him, while paying top dollar, and in the process, wasting a lot of money that could instead be used to educate his kids so they don't end up like him. Spineless, squinted and in dire need of a sex change operation to overcome the difficulties of being a real man.
I'm going to +rep you for creativity.

Do you think we could tempt Bernard Lacombe from Lyon? Or somebody from a team that's survival depends on qualifying for the champions league, your Lyons/Lilles/Portos etc.

It's not difficult to get an Aguero there's a set price for that, but the real bread and butter of a SD or GM is bringing through the Gourcuffs and Nasris, actually buying appreciating assets. It's clear Marotta can't do this (vidal is the exception).

Terrible at low level deals- Motta level players
Average at mid level deals- Vucinic level players
Terrible at top level deals- Vidal level players
Terrible a superstar deals- Aguero level players

That is basically the entirety of this thread for the entire season and beyond if he gets a renewal.
marottas contract last untill june 2013. i think your "analysis" of marotta is terrible. Marotta did well not to overpay in a extremly inflated market, and we are much stronger this year, both first 11 and backup.
this year i think we are closer to milan and inter, and def. stronger than our main competitors, lazio, roma and napoli.

I love the complete lack of faith in Conte. I hope he fucking wins everything so you all can choke on it. Your all so stuck on the names its sad
What makes you so confident about a coach who sticks to one formation and has always coached weak teams? He's not even been coaching for that long.

He's not even close to the aforementioned coaches and we're all hoping he proves us wrong but be serious.

Stronger than Napoli?
as a overall team i think we are stronger and we have better backup players. Napoli have 3-4 champions. hamsik, lavezzi and cavani (inler ?) when they are inj. or out of form, napoli will suffer. This year they also have cl and i think their squad is too weak to compete in 3 competitions. At full strenght napoli is a frightfull opponent though.

Are you sure it's 2013? dear christ we're boned :sergio:

'Market inflated' another Jamie Redknappism, your appreciation of Marotta is entirely misplaced I'm affraid. There is no premium of players better than what we have that we can sign, merely one on pipe-dream players of an Aguero level. We are stronger yes, but not AS strong as we could be or should be at this stage. If my analysis is so terrible, where are his Vidal level players that weren't out of contract and effectively transfer listed?

There aren't any, logic bomb.

So what you're saying is that we're better than Napoli because we have more average players cuz clearly we have less champions.
