Do you think we could tempt Bernard Lacombe from Lyon? Or somebody from a team that's survival depends on qualifying for the champions league, your Lyons/Lilles/Portos etc.

It's not difficult to get an Aguero there's a set price for that, but the real bread and butter of a SD or GM is bringing through the Gourcuffs and Nasris, actually buying appreciating assets. It's clear Marotta can't do this (vidal is the exception).

Terrible at low level deals- Motta level players
Average at mid level deals- Vucinic level players
Terrible at top level deals- Vidal level players
Terrible a superstar deals- Aguero level players


That is basically the entirety of this thread for the entire season and beyond if he gets a renewal.

What is up with all the loan deals we're doing these days? We must the the only "big club" out there that loans in and out so many players. And I'm not talking about young players who go on loan for experience.

We should seriously consider taking Capello or Lippi back next season if we don't get in the top 3 or just miss out by some bad luck that isn't Conte's fault.
