a few times it panned over to him watching the game and it struck me that he was not particularly concentrated on the game. maybe he was thinking about what moves he could make, which striker he could bring in or how we can bolster the full-back positions but to me he was not completely focussed on this match, looked like he only had one eye on it the whole time

Yeah, loose one game after 13 unbeaten games and people is calling for Marottas head
13 unbeaten games including draws against weakest teams in europe. It doesn't really matter if you are not able to score against shittiest teams you can ever play. I was saying same thing before the start of season. This was second worst mercato after 2007.

Turk enough bullshit really, Giovinco did not do anything special, he took the goals well and I wont deny that but really we were down to 10 men and beaten after that red. Marotta has not done anything wrong really.

Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta insists the club are looking to improve the team's quality during the January transfer window.

However, the Old Lady's chief recruitment strategist reiterated the idea that he will only make a move if there is value to be found in the market.

Interviewed on Sky Italia, Marotta said: “In reality Del Neri's definition is realistic. We are considering making signings.

“It's not easy. We want to improve on a qualitative level. We are happy with our attack. We are the most prolific team in Serie A. So I don't believe that this is Juventus' problem.”

Marotta may well have to review that standpoint after Fabio Quagliarella went down with what looked like a serious knee injury against Parma.

Asked about Juventus' goalkeeper situation which has been complicated by the return of Gigi Buffon, he said: “I don't believe it's a problem. He is acting in full harmony with us and is recovering from injury. He will play in the Coppa Italia against Catania.”

Finally Marotta turned his attention to long-term transfer target Edin Dzeko who looks set to join Manchester City from Wolfsburg.

“He has a very high value [as a footballer], so he wouldn't just have done well for Juventus.

“There was a great difficulty for us [in trying to sign him]. There would have been no space for him bureaucratically in January because we have already registered a non-EU player in Milos Krasic.”

thats the only thing i hate about marotta and del neri always saying we have the best attack in the league....srsly how many of those were scored by iaquinta and amauri? or even del piero...other than quag who is now injured there is no one scoring goals in our attack...

Giovinco did fuck all except for taking his goals well. He didn't run riot against us, he didn't do a whole lot. GM needs to get on the phone and get a few players in. Ship Amauri and Momo out now.

If he judges by the goals, then it means that we have the worst defense in serie A,Then do smth about it! And stop buying AMFs and SSs

Marotta deserves criticism for allowing Amauri longer at the club and letting
go.

Maybe he can fix that and bring his ass back to Turin. Hércules are fucked financially, and we're already paying his wages.

Marotta isn't stupid, he knows we lack strikers. If he says we need them then he looks desperate and selling teams capitalize. By saying we have the most prolific attack, he doesn't look desperate when approaching teams for their strikers.
