 I cant cry so im going to laugh. Its quite hillarious, :sergio: his approach to the market is somewhat different to secco but I just cant believe what i have seen for the past few days. Well marotta lets hope you plan well ahead (with educated backup alternatives) next time.

Patience.

That's all I can tell myself, is to be patient. I'm way too old, and have seen too much of this club over the past 30 years, to suddenly start giving a knee jerk reaction.

Life goes on, and back to work I go. Busting my ass so that I can pay the $10.00 per month fee to RAI International to watch Juve just about every sunday

Palermo, Napoli, Genoa, and hell, even Parma have more talent than we do
Palermo: Sirigu - Balzaretti - Bovo - Goian - Cassani - Nocerino - Liverani - Migliaccio - Pastore - Miccoli - Maccarone - Coach: Delio Rossi.

Napoli: De Sanctis - Campagnaro - Cannavaro - Aronica - Hamsik - Gargano - Maggio - Dossena - Sosa - Lavezzi - Cavani - Coach: Mazzarri.

Genoa: Eduardo - Moretti - Bocchetti - Rafinha - Kharja - Criscito - Rossi- Mesto - Palacio - Palladino - Toni - Coach: Gasperini.

Parma: Mirante - Zenoni- Lucarelli - Antonelli - Zaccardo - Morrone - Budel - Dzemaili - Giovinco - Paloschi - Bojinov - Coach: Marino.

Would you want any of those squads to be Juve's? Or in fact, how many of those players and coaches would you want at Juve? Balzaretti, Nocerino, Miccoli, Moretti, Criscito, Palladino, Mirante and Bojinov are our rejects. Would you want them back?

Migliaccio, Cassani, Bovo, Maggio, Dossena, Bocchetti, Antonelli, Paloschi are all Italian so called overrated players. I can imagine the reactions here if our team had decided to sign any of them.

Goian, Campagnaro, Sosa, Rossi, Budel, Dzemaili, Khraja? You'd want them?

Liverani, De Sanctis, Cannavaro, Maccarone, Aronica, Mesto, Toni, Rossi, Zaccardo, Zenoni, Morrone? Seriously?

Cavani, Gargano, Rafinha, Palacio? Are they any better than the "mediocre" players we have in our team? Or Delio Rossi, Gasperini, Marino, Mazzarri instead of Del Neri?

So Pastore, Hamsik, Lavezzi. 3 players from 4 teams. And because of them you think we are bound to finish behind them? We are not in the CL, we must focus on the league games and we are (more than) good enough to get a CL spot. It wouldn't be easy of course but even with this team, as limited and mediocre as it seems, we are still much better than our rivals for a CL spot. With the CL money hopefully, we will bring in better players.

Sam here. I'm watching Juve since 1982 and I saw some good transfer and also some bad. Even Moggi wasn't the best and also he have some bad transfers.
Last year I was pretty sure that we will have a good season. Melo and Diego give me some hope. I was afraid of Canna and Grosso, cause they were old and Canna have some very bad games in RM. For this year my wish was to get yound and good CB and Bonnuci fit in my wishes. Also Krasić and Aquillani gives me some hope and we also get if not better at least younger LB and RB. If we didn't sell Diego and we just simply add Quaq to that team, I would be pretty happy with this mercato. But selling Diego could be mistake, but to be honest he's not SS so he doesn't fit in DN system.
But I still hope that at the end of year we will be succesful. So wait and we will see. But for sure this team will need some time. And fans should stand behind this team in good or bad.

What i really don't understand is why Marotta was calm during the entire summer and suddenly in the end he changed completely the look of the squad?

It seems that as if everything was going well n fine n to scheme planned in the begining but it was Diego's deal which changed the things, and then Marotta started to find the things not under control so started signing anyone.I don't know but maybe.

You forgot a few players in there, including Veloso for Genoa and Galloppa for Parma.

I would certainly take Rafinha or Palacio here as well, they're better than some of our signings.

Overall, I agree those teams don't have more talent than we do. But even if that's the case, we can still finish below them. Last season is enough to prove you wrong on that. The squad may seem good enough to get a CL spot, but that doesn't mean shit. It's a team sport and replacing good talent with mediocre players isn't acceptable, won't get us anywhere.
