Juventus director general Beppe Marotta has announced his intention to reinforce again before the end of the transfer window.
Marotta concluded a busy week of business last night following the signings of Alberto Aquilani from Liverpool and Milos Krasic from CSKA Moscow.
Speaking after Juventus’ victory in the Berlusconi Trophy, Marotta said: “We still lack some pieces and will try to get them in the last few days of the market.”
When asked to reveal his targets, Marotta said: “A defender and a midfielder.
“We are very satisfied with the work we have done up till now,” he added.
Juventus have recently been linked with a move for Parma left-back Luca Antonelli as they look to phase out Fabio Grosso.
Finally, Marotta pulled the curtain down on talk linking Diego with a move away from the club.
“There isn’t an offer for him. We are conscious that he forms part of the project, so he is a Juventus player like the others,” Marotta concluded.[/FONT]
