even am not the big fan of Diego but selling him without any improvement in the other areas means nothing...

He's one of the best players we have right now and should keep him, not sell him unless we can use him to get someone better but it seems that's not the case. I don't wanna sound pessimistic or anything but until now I don't see any improvement that would make us challenge for any trophy and by selling Diego we will be even weaker and without a single creative player in the team.

And when Marotta buys Dzeko after selling Diego and bringing in mediocre players like Pepe and Martinez, along with not improving upon the LB position, will you say the same thing?

Thus far, these look exactly like Secco transfers.

I'm not a big fan of the idea of getting dzeko nor do I think that any of our signings are scudetto material but atleast he is trying to spend the budget on almost every position, maybe he hasn't yet but the tarnsfer market isn't over yet either, so let's atleast give him a chance.
We need to build a team first before we add a superstar to it.
