Too much drama over Marotta's words.

He didn't say that we will buy only 1 striker.he didn't mention names, nothing.
He just said that "Substantial change' is a big phrase – I don't think that will happen." and not all goals achievable.

Ofcourse not,like Cavani,like Suarez.

On the other hand i'm sure Conte is not stupid and for sure will not setlle for another average mercato.he wiuld have left us if he knew that would be the case, and that his requests will not be met.
at least some of them.
So i'm sure one of or both of Jojo and Higuain will sign.
plus we'll get CB back up,Diamanti and etc probably some LWB like Kolarov or Lulic if get just Jojo and stick to 3-5-2...

Conte mostly want to be assured of new strikers, and the general direction this club is heading in.

He wants to have a say in how we will go from here. wich was his biggest concern

What he says and what he does in the end are complete different. Giving names of Van Persie, Suarez ending up with Bendtner, different of versions of same shit, talking about Aguero ending up with Vucinic, talking about bringing quality almost ending up with Floro Flores. For once, it would be better if he talk about Diamanti and end up with Jovetic or someone in his calibre.

And his requests will be met.i'm sure will sign at least 1 great SS/forward if not 2.
plus Conte will get few other good players he needs.

For once, it would be great if you actually knew what you were talking about

That's what I hate most about him.

I understand not being able to sign a player but what's the point talking about him when you're going to end up with a shit player instead.

Hopefully this summer it'll be different.

To be honest it's a mix of what he actually says and what journalists say, and even then he is only replying to their prodding. Over time it all merges into the same thing, I've even seen people say that he promised us a big signing.

For always, you should shut the fuck up if you have nothing to say on topic.
Time and again, much more intelligent people then you, have explained why we wouldnt get those players the past years.

Now, i can understand j0ker saying that he shouldnt be to open about it. I feel somewhat the same.

But bashing him for the failure itself, we have past the point where we concluded juventus couldnt do better

That could be my fault, Sal.

Although apparently some also need to work on their reading comprehension around here.

:D
:D

And now "Not all goals are achievable", I think we're in for a long summer of Marotta quotes.

Juventus can always do better. Failure belongs to that guy you're trying very hard to justify as if you're getting paid. I spit on those 'much more intelligent people' who are defying the facts such as Matri + Martinez = one of those players he failed to get.

Even if we have 7 consecutive titles, in my book, shit has to be called shit.

i have a bad feeling about this, Vidal stays this summer who says he will stay in the next? And pirlo isnt getting any younger...

We need to be more ambitous enough of the Rafa Benitez strategy of buying several "good players" and just buy 1 or 2 excellent ones. This top class striker thing is becoming a yearly thing now, and is simply not being addressed at all

Thats pretty much sums this summer and every summer with Marotta, giving excuses in advance. I honestly think that Conte would not keep quiet this time around. If Marotta screws up this summer IMO its either him or Conte will leave next year.
