Well that's unlikely, considering (good) free transfers don't happen as much in winter transfer window.
In Soviet Russia they do.

Teams who spend the most in the January window tend to be the ones who have struggled through the first half of the season, or need to fill a big hole. Inter and Milan fit that category.

We need a striker and have Llorente coming and Anelka in. To me this might stop the club signing another strong striker, I can see them risking what we already have for another 6 months.

So when will it be possible? when after piling mediocre sh!t over and over, while others spend on what is worthwhile, we lose our lead, and get back to mid table/competing for the 3rd CL spot again?

Actually never mind. Arguing over this clown's acts has been done enough already, not worth the time and headache anymore.
We went from unbeaten to midtable team in just over half a season :lol2:

You know, merda knew what their team needs, saw the opportunity and were willing to spend in order to fix and improve, instead of sitting on their asses waiting like beggars for free/cheap/hard to come by opportunities.
We should sign their transfer director. Marco Branca I think it is, Inter fans think very highly of him.

They signed an 18 year old AM for 15m EU, the talentless hack Kuzmanovic and Rocchi

We are struggling right now and have big holes to fix. People say Chiello and Asa will be back soon. But what if they get injured (again in chiello's case) or red carded etc. are we just going to accept dropping more points? I think it's pathetic that we can't even fix simple problems. Conte's favourite 2 starters in the foward line can't even score, I'm really not sure what is going with the management of the club at the moment, especially when clubs like milan and napoli are spending big yet we can't even spend a measly 10m to fix our problems that would re-consolidate our position at the top.

This 100%.

Kovacic is a big talent. A very good replacement for Sneijder.

Let's not exaggerate, as if our squad needs an overhaul after one month of negative results.

If you go back and look at posts pre-winter break it would be embarrassing to read this now, as fickle as it gets.

Nobody is saying an overhaul, just 2-3 players. One defender who can actually defend, and a foward who can score with consistency. and maybe lm/lwb.

Nothing wrong with that.

yes, they lack a ballplaying midfielder, and had plenty of ballwinners, and they bought ... another ballwinner !

What a marvellous idea

I don't know much about Kovacic, but isn't he a ball player?
Attacking midfielder, very good on the ball.

i'm referring to the other dude with a K they bougt. Kuzmanosomething.

a 15 year old, thats going to take a few years before he'll be doing anything considering he's a midfielder
Kuzmanovic. Better quality mf than peluso is df.

Kovacic is 18 (19 this year). He has CL experience too.

Way to miss the point dude! I'm not praising every buy other teams make (obviously they make a lot of crappy buys too), just that, when they know where the problem is, they are willing to pay and fix it NOW not in the unforeseeable future.
