Marotta can't be compared to Secco as the latter actually had alot money and blew it all on the wrong players.

Marotta on a budget has already made some nice moves (Krasic, Aquaman,Quag) and is still trying to clean up the mess his predecessor made.

Out of the 4 years Secco was here there is only 2 players that he brought that I want to stay and thats Melo and Marchisio (who was brought up through the youth system).

The rest I would prefer to see gone but its hard as their on fat contracts and refuse to leave.

So I think we should give the Marotta bashing a rest for now.

Quag was actually a panic-move turned up to be great. Marottas first choices were Di Natale and Boriello. I've always rated Quag over those and I was very happy when he signed.

Aquilani was a good move indeed, and so was Krasic.

Secco actually did some great transfers and was ambitious with many of his signings. Signings like Diego, Andrade, Tiago, Amauri, Sissoko, Iaquinta, Melo and Poulsen had all good reputations before arriving here and could easily had been signed by another top club around Europe.

Ambitious they were but he over paid for Melo, Tiago and Amauri and bought Diego without signing a passing Midfielder and Full backs to compliment him.

And I won't even start on the players he let go.

If guys here think Amauri is a poor player then he's a Platini in comparison to the Joke Floro. I'd much rather see a youngster who has hunger to prove himself in the first team been given a chance then having a shit player just for the sake of adding more bodies in this team.
