Bayern knocked us out in the last 16. Clearly they were superior to us so we are not as good as them. We haven't proven anything in Europe other than having 1 good season in Europe and that team has been dismantled and replaced by an inferior team.

Our MF (Cheesio and Lemina Out and half-Khedira In) and our attack were very limited (Dybala Out and Half Mandzo in)... so in which planet an 93' minutes goal against a limited squad means Boss them?

Both teams probably had just as many injuries to be fair. What helped us was we actually had a counter attack in the second leg with pace on the whole front 3 in the 4-3-3. In a 3-5-2 we probably wouldn't have been able to counter so well and cause so much damage.

They had two defenders out, not that comparable. It doesn't impact their team play as much and they still had Kimmich and Benatia lined up.

Thankfully they have common sense so you are not a mod.

Edit. Our team was not crazy good last season. Our midfield and attack both got weakened last season. We did very well against Bayern but overall they were a better team than us in my opinion.

Maybe if Allegri got his tactics right in the first leg sooner and didn't put Mandzukic on we may have knocked them out but my opinion is we were just a level below the very best last season.
