Pep Guardiola : "Juventus 'too big of a club to complain about the disallowed goal'"
I disagree. There were some grave errors in the last 2 years and Marotta is perfectly right to point these out.

Anyhow if tables are turned Guardiola wouldn't stay silent.

His recent sales/giveaway haunt us in the CL. Nando ensured we dont top the group, coman and vidal, well u know how it went.
That's some fucked up shit right there. Don't know whether to laugh or cry about it.

I agree with everything 100%.

Marotta just gave Allegri a huge $#@!ing jigsaw where all the pieces do not match this season and some how Allegri made it all work despite no pieces actually fitting together.

Disaster of a Mercato it has to be said despite the fact of signing 2 brilliant players in Dybala and Sandro.
Marotta didn't give Allegri a regista and a CAM. The hernanes signing was some last minute desperate attempt to fill those holes but that should have been addressed right after we signed Dybala.

All in all Allegri managed to get us into the last 16 and we seem like we will win the scudetto if not the double. I have no complaints.

Season goes pretty much as I predicted. Win Serie A, go out early in CL because Marotta failed to build on top of what we had. He had to sidestep instead. Llorente/Vidal/Coman's contribution to our CL exit should shut up Mercato '15 defenders if nothing else, but it doesn't. It never does.

Scorer of second goal against Bayern and the best player after Morata, as well as the scorer of only goal in scudetto clash with Napoli say hi.

Because it wasn't. We mostly signed good players that have made a positive impact on our team.
We signed good players I agree but a lot of those players do not fit in a system to get the best out of all the players. How many formations have we seen this season?

You cant just sign all those players and expect them to work together, to get the best out of Morata Dybala has to be on the bench that's just one example.

Zaza is a decent player but not worth 20 million. Hernanes waste of money and should have been a CAM that Allegri wanted.

Look at the players that they replaced? I dont see any upgrades from the players that went out.

I can go on and on the fact is it was a complete mess of a mercato even if we did sign good players.

Allegri has to have a system in mind and Marotta cant go and sign random players and hope they fit in a system.

So you're saying we shouldn't have signed Dybala :snoop:

Zaza has already justified his price tag and we can easily sell him for profit if we so choose to do. Hernanes was initially a flop but he has recently done his part although the price tag is still not justified.

Players going out: Tevez wanted to leave and we got the best possible replacement who arguably is already on par with Tevez. Pirlo wanted to leave and he wouldn't have been a starter anymore Marchisio is way better nowadays. Vidal is the only one where we lost quality but Khedira is still doing good job.

We wanted to have tactical freedom as we are not a team that wants to have just one possible formation and I'm pretty sure Allegri is happy with the players he got with some exceptions.

You can spin it so that we have tactical freedom but Allegri just made the best out of a messy transfer window is how I would put it down. The mercato could have been much better in my opinion for the money we spent.

Again the big money we spent went to Dybala and Alex Sandro who have both been huge successes. Mandzukic also cost quite a few millions and he has been great. Zaza has justified his price tag and his value has only increased. If that's not a good transfer window I don't know what is.

About the "spinning" part we all do it because in the end none of us has any clue what Marotta or Allegri think or have thought.

We can judge the result however.

We have downgraded both midfield and attack that summer. I argue that Beppe handled the attacking line in a rather reasonable way (minus gifting llorente and overpaying for zaza).

Yet nobody can deny the severe blow that our midfield took in that mercato. Not only we failed to achieve our long declared transfer target of buying a CAM, we also softened our CM and replaced quality with meh players.

We have upgraded our defending line with Sandro but I spit in everybody's face who suggests the sales were neccessary to acquire Sandro and Dybala.

The midfield is really the only place where we fucked up last summer and made it considerably weaker to previous years.

Sandro is the best LB in the world, while Dybala is already on Tevez' level. Those two were fantastic signings and that alone is enough not to label it as disastrous mercato.

I actually much prefer our current attacking lineup.

Dybala, Mandzukic, Morata and Zaza is better attack than Tevez, Llorente, Morata and Giovinco in my opinion.

Midfield was weakened of course with the loss of Vidal and Pirlo as we only brought Khedira who has close to similar quality as a replacement.
