Marotta with all kinds of fails this summer.

Funniest part is that he broke down a team that made the CL final and seriously thought he could make it better by signing others teams trash  He was looking in the trash cans of Real Madrid, Atl Madrid, Chelsea.
pirlo left - everyone was happy. he is done as a football player they said.
with tevez we always knew it will last 2 or 3 years at max.
vidal - not sure what happened, seems like he wanted out
but i think there must have been a row or something (drunk driving? :boh:)

btw.

we took tevez out of citys trash can, pirlo out of milans and evra out of ManUTD’s.
i agree - we shouldnt have signed them. turned out horrible.

Mandzukic, even though i never liked him, has great stats and it is not
his fault he didn’t fit in at madrid playing only on the counter.

as for cuadrado - the majority on tuz would have been fapping 24/7
if we would’ve gotten him last year, but
not playing under mourinho suddenly makes trash out of him.

also beppe signed rugani and dybala = great signings no?

we did not get the AM Max wanted - that sucks of course.
but dont act like everything beppe does is bullshit. its just not true.
we must not only see the negative things.

That's taking it a bit far, don't you think?
 good point

Maybe we give away these players because we are terrified of paying Capital Gains taxes? :boh:

oh please.

when we took tevez out of city's trash we had guys like Giovinco and Vucinic.

With Pirlo we just finished 7th, twice. We were the trash can.

You need to understand that standards change. What was a good summer in 2011 isn't the same after CL final in 2015. 3 years ago, we were dreaming about guys like Lisandro Lopez and Ibrahim Affelay.

Fact is that Mandzu, Khedira and Cuadrado are brought here by rival teams that didn't want them after them failing.
Maybe they do well, maybe not. But they are not up to the task of replacing Pirlo, Tevez and Vidal.

Please stop refer to Vidal and Pirlo like you guys are missing them. If I want I can dig up tons of posts people trashing them last season. The player we miss most is surely Tevez, if we had him that would be a very smooth transition.

who brought us the win against Olympiacos and Monaco, aside from a dozen wins against Serie A minnows. His creativity has never been replaced
everyone was screaming to replace pirlo with marchisio.
rightly so. direct play + a DM that can defend and run.

those few magic moments of pirlo simply were not worth it anymore
to cover his ass for 90 minutes. he was a liability most of the time.
the only thing i miss are his freekicks.

Tevez alone can create goal out of nowhere, and he links up with Pogba really well. I did not mean Mandzukic and Dybala won't be able to replace Tevez, but they need times to gel with the team. Right now they does not. We always played like shit last season whenever Padoin is playing too, so there is little to judge our team right now.

always love it when people point to Vidal and Pirlo.

First of all, there was nobody wanting Vidal out. That is horseshit. That is a flat out lie, maybe he got some criticism for not being as good as the season before but he was still a beast and top in the world. We all had a meltdowns as soon as there was a tiny rumor about him leaving. So I'm not going to defend Vidal status on 'tuz anymore.

Pirlo on the other hand is true, a lot of us including myself wanted Marchisio to bench Pirlo. But with that being said when we moved Vidal to AM in the Champions League Pirlo was not a burden out there anymore but an asset. Vidal could work on defense and Pirlo could playmake which nobody ever complained about.
