His main task is clear, if he $#@!s up then he should be fired.

If you have an assignment to do at work and you don't do it, do you tell your boss: sorry it was too hard, someone else did it better, I'll try again next year?
Are you saying his main task is to sign strikers and not construct a team that wins titles? Because he's constructed a team that wins titles.

I really just have to stop responding to you at this point. Have fun celebrating all our victories next year and beyond though while you call for Marotta to be fired.

It was all to Conte. How can't you see this? His work ends when season begins.

 NO AMBITION FTW

Let's just get to CL quarters every year and be happy with that.

oh yeah btw, you're pretty naive if you think we can keep winning the league every year with out current players. Milan, Fiorentina, Napoli etc will all be getting stronger, it would be pretty weak and complacent to expect it's a given that we'll win the league.

Maybe you should go and support Arsenal, Liverpool etc.

Not really, he fits in 4-4-2 more. He was never good in 4-3-3 really.
There was a place for a winger in that system, he should have been able to fit. He didn't even look good in the 4-2-4 at the start either.

Anyway, he still was terrible for Juve at the end, you don't retain much transfer value after being shoved from the first team for a season for the type of performances he was putting in and being a dumb player. Asking more from Beppe in that situation is stupid.

Sky sport said we'll have 200mln net for transfers and wages, how much do we currently spend on wages including Llorente and exluding Iaquinta and let's say one of Quag or Matri who are expected to leave.

Could someone calculate that?

Our wages with all bonuses are currently close to 140M. It's FR from last year. Nothing much changed.

I think @Alen just said our wages are around €115m/yr at the moment.

that is the somewhat similar situation we have with jovetic now, however, marotta's cv doesn't inspire confidence in me or many people here at the very least, that is is able to do that, and that is the point of all this.
There are certainly things in Juve's favour in the Jovetic deal.

However, Fiorentina would rather sell to anyone other than Juve and there are other teams out there prepared to make offers for Jovetic.

No-one else was interested in Balotelli and Man City were delighted to sell him for the first vaguely decent offer they got.

and why is it I wonder that we are unable to sell matri/quaq for even something like 5m each? if we are so desperate on getting quality attacker, yet we also need money booster for like just 10m to bring someone, why can't we just do that? the excuse that nobody in italy able to afford 5m forward is pretty much ridiculous, I bet the likes of parma, catania should be able to fund 5m fee...
You know that players need to be paid their wages and the transfer fee is not the only cost?

Matri is on 2.2m per year and Quagliarella is on 2.1m per year.

Now, you mention Parma and Catania; Catania's top earner is on 0.6m per year and Parma's is on 1m per year.

That's before getting into taxes.

Even someone like Lazio only has their top earner on something similar to what Matri and Quagliarella earn just now.

It ain't easy to sell these players within Italy just now.

Here's the GdS article I'm getting the numbers from:

http://i49.tinypic.com/fasmfs.jpg

It is based on figures from September 2012, so things may have changed a little, but you get the general idea.

We both know its more to do with the players being reluctant to leave.
In some cases like Amauri's one but generally there aren't enough suitors for players that don't perform. How can you sell attacker who can't score double figures...
