Sebastian Giovinco was pleased after his decisive contribution helped Juventus to a memorable 3-0 victory over arch-rivals Torino.
The 25-year-old frontman weighed in with an assist and a goal as Bianconeri romped to a deserved success in front of a packed out Juventus Stadium.
Speaking after the final whistle, Giovinco said: “We knew that it would have been a difficult game and it proved to be just that at the beginning. We kept our tempo too low and ran into difficulty on a few occasions. The incidents changed the game, but what counts is the result which enables us to prepare in the best possible way for our next fixture in the Champions League. We’ll be up against a very strong side and we’ll all have to be at 100%.
“If I had to choose between the goal and the assist? Well, the pass for Claudio enabled us to break the deadlock and so perhaps it was even more important, but goals are everything for strikers and this one, in the derby, will also have a special taste for the fans:”
