The Giovanissimi Regionali enjoyed a 3-1 success over inter-city rivals at Juventus Center.
Fabrizio Ravanelli’s side got off to a tremendous start when captain Barengo put them ahead inside the opening stages. The Granata, however, edged themselves back into the encounter as the first-half wore on, grabbing an equaliser to send both teams into the break all square.
But Juventus, backed by a passionate crowd at the Ale&Ricky pitch, upped the ante and saw off their opposition with second-half goals from Moussa and Goh.
Speaking after the final whistle, a visibly delighted Ravanelli said: “It was a classic derby affair. We started well and raised our game in the second half, playing to a high tempo. It was a deserved victory and we could have also scored a few more. I’m happy with how our lads read the game, showing a great sense of belonging. This is fundamental for them to continue to chase their dreams.”
