i am confused why chiellini wants to leave. i mean he says hes third choice left back. whos better than him in the position in our current squad?
I am pretty sure Ranieri consider Chiellini mainly as a CB,we really lack strong CB in our team,we have only Andrade & the rest are too young(criscito) or too crappy(boum & legro)!! Chellini want to be 100% that he will be a regular starter for Juve,he doesnt want to be a replacement, the only reason he played for us in Serie b is that he thought when we get promoted he will finally be a regular in Juve & now he feels that he could be a replacement after hearing that Juve are contacting with at least 2 or 3 CB after Andrade!!! I think if we didnt buy another strong CB,Chiellini will be a starter & thats will be Fine by me coz I really trust this guy & I think that he is the future of I talian Defence!!

Chiellini would be an idiot to leave Juventus, but that doesn't mean he won't. We need to keep this kid here. He is an important part of our future. All problems mend eventually. Ranieri, Management and Giorgio need to sit down and hash this out.

I'd like to keep Chiellini. He has been here for some time, he is young, he is Italian and he is talented. BUT he is slightly overrated here. Chiellini is strong and has good headers, but sometimes he reads the game too slowly and his positioning is off. Plus, he isn't that good going forward. He is already decent and can become a fairly good player. But in my opinion he won't become worldclass. If he cannot live with competition at a club like Juventus, if he continues to spread bad mood and if the offer is good: why not consider it?

we should not look to sell players who can be an integral part of Juventus...but if keeps shooting his mouth off about how "important" he is then well....

if Chiellini leaves for Man. City I will hate him for the rest of my life.
I'm not too found of him as it is with all his remarks of wanting a guaranteed place but if he leaves...

Why would anyone rate playing for Manchester City and scummy Eriksson in Premier League higher than playing Serie A for Juventus? I simply don't get it...? :disagree:

it's called Greed
Guess so. I just don't get it. If you are Italian, if you've got ambitions, if you've got a bit of honour in you, you would stay in Juve, and win a lot of titles in a short period of time. If Giorgio turns out as great as it seems he's got the potential to be, he will get paid in Juventus. He won't breake the bank.

Even now he ought to be vastly wealthy (or filthy rich). I just don't get it.

Guys the guy only said that he will consider leavin if he felt that he is not an important member in the team & that he was treated in a different way that the other big names,he is just afraid that he has a great form right now & it could be wasted on the bench.Maybe he feels that Ranieri is searching for more defenders coz he is not conviced in him!! Lets wait & see what happens but trust me selling this guy will be a BIG mistake even if the offer reached 12 mil euros!!
