"His performance at the Stadio Tardini left many speechless. As if scoring four goals against Udinese wasn’t enough, the way he found the back of the net each time was virtually unbelievable. This striker is something special and we’re only at the beginning of his career."

Thats says it all. He is something special.

Maresca for Gilardino??...oh shit..this is the first time a Maresca deal makes me think about it.............
IN this case we would have to HEAVILY reinforce our midfield, since Camo and maresca are our most technical midfielders.

I dont know guys...this Gila is too hot to handle..it would be a GREAT desception if he join another ig italian club and kick our asses in the next 10 years.

I would really sign him. I was with Cave, but iis not sure that juve will sign him. Gila have showed a great performance , well a phenomenal
performance.

There is the risk that he could turn another di vaio... but well i have the feeling that it will be not in that way. He will be a great player.
NO Maresca for Gilardino??... it would be better if JUVE bought him insted..!

Gilardino: I Want To Stay In Italy

05/19/2004. Parma striker Alberto Gilardino talked about his future today but he made it quite clear that he wants to stay in Italy.

"We'll see after this European Championship what to do," he said. "I hope that Parma will manage to solve all the financial problems so that I can stay where I am".

"If that doesn't happen I'll have to think about another solution," he added. "I want to play in the serie A next season but if nobody wants me then I would be very happy to join Real Madrid".

at least it means he'll pick Juve over teams like Real Madird & Chelsea

i think we can forget about getting Gilardino as Moggi has already said that Parma want too much for the player, its now more likely that Juve will get Vieri

I wouldn't trade Maresca for Gilardino. Maresca has the experience in Juve and I feel more secured, wherelse you never know how Gilardino would turn out. SHOULD he be a flop (GOD FORBID), then you already wasted a talent in Maresca.

And you're absolutely right, trading Maresca for anyone would be waste...

If Di Vaio is included in Vieri bid as rumoured, then we'd still be short of one striker. And this is where Gilardino comes in:cool:.
Okay, just dreaming but I really would be happy if forwards/strikers for next season were Vieri, Gilardino, Miccoli and Del Piero. That dream consists of one big if - Vieri must accept at least 25% pay cut. Actually second one too, Juve's economy allows those acquisitions.

Wow, that would be great... But there are big ifs... Vieri-Gila-Micco-DP, can it get any better than that?!

Oh man, Moggi really said that? What a pity.

I wonder how much Vieri will cost.
