Its simply not true! Zebina was an error prone last year, when Roma was in a very-very bad form+ the refs didnt help them either. He was playing very well, just made a fatal error every match (not like Legro, who always seems to be confused). This season he didnt made any huge mistake, but he was reliable whole season long. He is younger than any of our cd's, and he is much more talented both athletical and skill. He will be recognized as one of the best defs in few years time. We should get him, but instead we will buy the mediocre Parma collection and leave the rough diamond to Milan, as we used to.

btw Pancaro, Cafu and Kaká all of them was predictable to be good signings. Maybe Kaká wasnt expected to be that good.

IMO you are right that it was a mistake from Juve to think that Defense will work till Ferrara and this guy are 40 and it is enough to bring Legro! An old defender who is not Maldini or Nesta or maybe Cannavaro can still be useful IF he is around players that can make up for his speed. Example: Costacurta: his positioning and tactic is one of the best in the league. What he lacks in speed he is covered by Cafu, Nesta or Maldini. On the other hand Ferrara is being given too prominent a role without proper support.

Anyway, Gilardino is a through and through Juve fan and that counts alot when he dons that beautiful Bianconeri shirt in the future. He will surely play with passion and enthusiasm.

But is Gilardino the finished article? Will his arrival to a big club be a little too soon for him and his promising career? Remember this is his first full season with Parma as he was constantly in the shadows of Adriano. Will the violonist follow the footsteps of Legrottaglie and Appiah or will he rock Serie A at a young age like a certain Del Piero once did in the past? All interesting questions that should be answered soon.

don't forget that last season, Juve had the best defense in Italy. That time,Montero,Ferrara,Iulano and Tudor was great. who can reckon that they'll become crap the next season..

Milan didn't have the problem with injurys and went also out of CL (4:0 what a game) and also Coppa so if Milan win the scudetto i accept that but that was no super season for you!

Milan had one bad loss the whole season which unfortunately downplayed their world ranking..they were consistently ranked first in the world. They have one Serie A loss and have registered an incredible season. The Coppa? Are you serious..teams that concentrate on Coppa are teams that are out of the CL or Scudetto...as Milan last season being out of Scudetto and Juve this season.
Injuries? Do you realize that Nesta and/or Maldini were injured for the Juve, Inter, Roma and Deportivo matches and one or the other did not play in those matches. You still have not learned the lesson: DEPTH of our squad: Costacurta coming off the bench making defenders like Legrotagglie and Materazzi look like they are 50 years old. Ambrosini coming in only to pop in game winning goals.

No but I'm knowledged enough in football to know WHO is better....MORE USEFUL if one thing. Better is another. Don't mix up the two.
