Lol at these rumors.. keep changing. Florenzi for Woj and then PSG take and loan Donnarumma.. Next will be Atletico Madrid on him to replace Oblak who is really wanted by Chelsea. I wouldnt be surprised by anything at this point

I'm assuming that all of the news are fake but if its true that we're not pursuing Donnarumma, who'd secure the position for 10 more years at least, for free because we're not finding somebody to sell Szczesny for this summer then that is us really not seeing the big picture. Even if our finances go into shit next year we could easily sell him for 70-80m.

After the successful transfer of Buffon in 2001 you'd think we'd understand how big of an opportunity this would be.

Except Donnarumma ain't a Buffon, not even close to half a Buffon. Also, nobody will ever buy Donnarumma for 70-80m, there's a reason his contract is expiring and clubs are still reluctant to hand him the contract he wants even without a transfer fee.

I actually commend whoever in charge, whether it's Allegri or Cherubini, for not taking Mino Raiola's bait. For me, Donnarumma should earn no more than 5m/season.

Good RB backup, Cuadrado moves forward and get Donnarumma. Win, win, win.
Im okay with it, if (very big IF) this won’t be some plusvalenza deal that will make us buy Florenzi for 30m and selling Szczesny for a comparable amount, as both clubs probably need plusvalenza.

Szczesny’s value is a lot more than Florenzi, and PSG had a 12m option.

We probably need plusvalenza in order to survive financially, but ffs no crazy amounts please.

This would allow us to get Donnarumma and have a backup for Danilo, Cuadrado probably joining the attack again.

Not only that. Our history demands we get this boy. This has our DNA written all over it. We will build a great defence in front of him, and he won't concede a goal. Although, two blunders . This is probably a done deal. It probably was, mutually, a long time ago. We will become tight at the back again next year. Defensively solid. #99 will take care of the crosses and shots from outside. De Ligt will need to become great. Rabiot will need to become great. Allegri has a difficult job to do for the next couple of years if he wants to take us to another final. We will win the scudetto. Allegri calculates how many points we'll need. We'll get it.

Anyway.
Expecting 6-8m, 5 years, to be signed this summer.
