lmao, so if I started copying and pasting other journalists reports, I’m now a reliable reporter? Anyone can do what he does. Why would anyone care? Because he gets paid to essentially steal. He’s no different than that Schira guy you hate. He‘s just more careful.
So Romano now copies from other journalists?

Cut the hate already, he clearly has connections and is incredibly reliable. Havertz, Gabriel, Konate, Zidane leaving, Soumare to Leicester, Conte to Inter etc. Just some of the stuff he broke. Not every journalist has to throw shit 2 months in advance so he can quote himself later when something sticks.

I don't hate Schira, I have no emotional investment in any reporter. You can literally search twitter for keywords from his tweets and find other people say the same thing slightly before him.

lets not forget that all this news are controlled - he would loose his contact if he says something with out permission. Romano's "here we go" is basically an official information, currently he is even more reliable then Agresti for Juve even. He doesnt copy some news, probably has to wait before making it public sometimes, i think there was even a short video with him, explaining it.

Romano for sure isn’t more reliable than Agresti. And in general he provides a lot less information than Agresti does.

Agresti posts daily/weekly videos at the Continassa, and attends every press conference. He truly stand close to the club.

Im not sure if Romano is still part of Di Marzio’s team, but during the summer when the mercatoshow is back on tv you just see that Di Marzio in general has a hard time understanding what te board does. I remember that Chiesa, Morataand Pirlo came as a surprise for them last year.

It mainly because of the policy this club is having, not much information gets leaked out. Even Agresti plays it more safe nowadays, but I consider him and Albanese to be te most reliable Juve sources.

Either way all of them are good sources in general of course. No denial there.

Did I miss anything or has he made some giant leap in quality?
Woj is a 7. He makes saves but if we get a really tough shot you can bet its going in while with Donnarumma its not a sure thing.
Then there is the thing of 2021 - Goalkeepers arent just save the ball and thats it, they distribute as well - Woj sucks at it.
and here is the most important thing (even more than shot stopping) which is commanding the area - When you see Buffon at his age commanding the area way better than Woj and you see the difference in our approach you understand Woj is just not good enough.
I don't think he's a 7. Imo 8.5 maybe an 8.

I will agree his distribution and command aren't insanely elite but he's not some scrub at them. Donnarumma is definitely better but I think the upgrade isn't as massive as some people think. And Woj is elite just by the fact that he's a top 15 keeper across Europe. He would start for every Serie A club except Milan with Donnarumma (Handa washed up). He would start for every German club except Bayern (maybe not Burki in Dortmund). He'd start for every Spanish club except Real or Atletico. He'd start for every French club except PSG. He'd start for 15-16 of the EPL clubs in England. He's better than de Gea.

Again, all I'm saying is its easy to criticize when we see him every match every week but he really is a top 15, maybe top 10 keeper in the Europe. He faults are so clear to us because we see them every match.

The thing with keepers is that you don't need one if your team is great. I would pour every dollar I have into the outfield players first. River Plate just won a match with a CM in net, Enzo Perez.

If you assemble a massive team that has 60% possession every match, the keeper is irrelevant to some extent. Or at least you don't need a prime shot stopper.

His distribution is fine. His command of the defence is lacking, that I'll agree. That said, the guy has been great for us, barring the last 6 months or so.

Donnarumma is a nice signing. If we can pull it off and make a plusvalenza on Szczeny perfect, if not, we are fine. When we close the mercato the GK situation could only be the icing on the cake, it's other areas that matter more.

Still ofcourse it would be a nice signing

The improvement wouldnt be massive in terms of saves but in terms of organizing the defense.
As for his rating across the world... I`d just say that if Juve are top 5 in Europe we should look to a GK in the top 5 and not top 15...
as for his distribution - He only managed to do well in the last 2 or 3 games and even then its not as he gave a monster performance, he was just ok (yeah I know he assisted a goal).
Now there is also the thing that Woj isnt on the young side while Donnarumma is + Donnarumma will probably improve further while Woj might stay Woj if he ages well.

I agree there is no rush to replace the GK as we have other things to do BUT it is an opportunity we should take.

De Gea - He is a mystery. He was so good and then he lost his ability like some Space Jam creature took his powers. He turned from Man Utd hero to a GK they dont even want as a sub. Prime De Gea was certainly better but today`s De Gea is unreliable.

I’m all for having a good Italian core of players. Problem with a Raiola client is will he be lasting 10+ seasons with us?
