His wages... It will be tough to find a team that agree to pay him that.
I know in other sports teams sometimes agree to pay a portion of a players salary to offload a guy to another team, but does it happen in football? I’m not talking about buyouts. I’m talking paying 20% or whatever of his wages, while another club pays the rest.

Yeah Romano has lost it yesterday Di Marzio reported Simone Inzaghi signed a new contract with Lazio now he is in advanced negotiations with inter
romano really brings nothing to the table unless you’re too lazy to follow actual reporters. He just taps in other peoples reports. I don’t remember the last time he broke a story first.

Why would anyone ffs care which reporter got something first, broke a story etc. I don't think their mothers care.

Only requirement for a reporter is to be reliable and that is it. Romano is. Give it a rest already

lmao, so if I started copying and pasting other journalists reports, I’m now a reliable reporter? Anyone can do what he does. Why would anyone care? Because he gets paid to essentially steal. He’s no different than that Schira guy you hate. He‘s just more careful.

Donnarumma to play the Copa Del Rey? What a shit report..
Definitely could be true in the sense that Raiola is trying to make us panic with this shitty planted news.

Romano is the best follow on Twitter, super active with his news around the clock and gets it right pretty much every time. He also breaks a lot of stories too, but obviously also copies some as well like all of them do.

I have heard that Maldini had enough with the negotiations after their 3rd offer rejected by Donarumma and therefore they went for the French, I love the middle finger to Raiola also.
I hope he doesn’t comes here. Fuck them both.

Barça willing to pay two starting keepers

I thought it was obnoxious when we had Buffon and Chimenti or
Buffon and Manninger or
Buffon and Neto

And?

Nobody would buy him. People say he's our GK for the next 15 years but nobody takes into account how it's possibly for him to get 10mln per season on a five year deal. Which means that no club would want him unless he's by far the best GK in the world, since I doubt anyone would want to pay that cash for him, plus his insane wages. Which puts us in a difficult position because if he's to renew his contract here, and looking at his agent, he'd surely ask for more just like he's asking for more in Milan at the moment.

Shortly, I still think it's a fucking stupid move.
You are stupid to not take free players with 60 M value and young, probably will be the Italian NT goalkeeper for years

Lets say we paid him 20M peryear for 3 years plus Raiola commision that total is 80M

After 3 years we can still sell him for above 80million

That is essentially free GK for 3 years

The stupidest move ever.

His wages are insane and they will get worse.

Like you said, every renewal he will create a soap opera with raiola and we will be always in a lose lose situation because no one will buy him once they realize he is a normal good keeper and not a GOAT worth 10+ mils

i repeat, LOSE LOSE situation for juve

Firstly, clubs don't offer 80mln + for a goalkeeper nowadays. Milan just made a great move by getting Maignan for 15mln euros and we're going to pay 20mln per year for this guy. Secondly, for somebody to offer that kind of money Donnarumma would need to be by far the best goalkeeper in the world -- which he surely isn't at the moment. Thirdly, not only some club would be insane enough to offer 100mln for him, but they would also need to pay around 15mln net for his wages.

On the other hand, we're getting a goalkeeper that needs polishing and more time in order to become better, which is natural because he's young. We'd be paying him 10mln for him offering nothing close to that sum while playing at Milan. And not just that but we're hoping he becomes world class and we're not thinking about his next contract for which Raiola would milk us again.

And possibly the best scenario is to offload him because we can't handle his wages in which case we managed to make him a lot better goalkeeper just so we can lose him to some other club while not even make a profit out of it.

Totally agree.
Is going full retard, never go full retard.

For sure.
First there are other positions on the squad that are more urgent than the keeper.
Second you can go with a lower cost for a keeper in between an financial-pandemic crisis, just pick other good afordable keeper from the league: Musso, Silvestri, Perin, Cragno. Keep Buffon.
Third, Raiola. :wallbang:
exactly. Meanwhile Perin is still ours right? but I would go either for Musso or Cragno.
And you know what? I'd sell Szczesny and keep Buffon as start for one more year.
