Yes, Perin is Szczesny's level (excluding Szczesny's recent poor form). His problem was the back and shoulder injuries, so a season and a half free of injuries he is back to top form.

He would be a very logical and cheaper choice for us, actually decreasing costs of the squad.

There are also Musso and Cragno that deserve bigger clubs.

Another one that is doing great and linked to big clubs is Audero and he would count as home frown for us.

Donnrumma is better than all of them though, and younger.
I want Audero back at some point, as 2nd choice.

He's a tier above Szczesny already at 22. Imagine when he reaches his prime
He's not.

People wank over him because he started off young at Milan and because he's Italian. He's good keeper but he's not a big upgrade at all, let alone a WC goalkeeper. He proved nothing to ask for 10mln/season.

Dybala asks for a lot but at least he had some seasons where he raped Serie A. Donnarumma did good but he's being pushed by Raiola which instantly gets attraction.

He really is. I know people like Woj here but that's the reality

Yeah, but Dollar is fancy and expensive so you just know it's gonna be him. Just as many howlers if not more - but more expensive.

Sorry, I meant il nuovo Buffon.
Come on Szczesny has been terrible for the last couple of months good goalkeepers don't keep making consistent mistakes

I don't care if we replace Woj. IMO our whole team bar De Ligt, Chiesa and Ronaldo can and should be sold. Like I said 1000 times we should focus on priorities which is to buy a new midfield. But if our staff dreams about a new GK, then sure, go and buy someone... but not overrated Dollarumma.

But Donnarumma is just a hilarious link. He's incredibly overrated, he made shitload of mistakes at Milan and his value is based on nothing. Woj is here for quite some time and he had some great seasons here. I can't say the same about Dollarumma.

I don't mind if we get another top GK either (who though?) but Szczesny can't stay our #1 next season. He was never WC but atleast he wasn't terrible like recently. We need someone else

I'll repost here what I said in the other thread. It's my option seriously

lol

It's a shit season, it really is. But I watched him for like 6 seasons and I rate him, I think he's a very good keeper. I did great at Roma, he did great here (imo). This season not so much.

But like I said in the other thread, it's hilarious that people think Donnarumma is great and a WC keeper.

If we had our team set I wouldn't mind one bit spending 60-100mln on a keeper. But not on Donnarumma and not for his wages, no.

However, I still want us to focus 1) two players for midfield 2) left back 3) striker because either Dybala or Ronaldo will leave imo. When we have that set and IF we have money left... then be my guest and buy a new goalkeeper as long as that's not Dollarumma. But no, I do not think we should buy a new GK over any of those 3 areas that I mentioned, not unless we fix those (a lot bigger) issues.
As for WHO, that I do not know. Oblak? I always wanted a German goalkeeper here because I love their technique and how they defend the goal with their legs, their school is rather unique for GKs just like French have specific technique which can be recongized in their midfield.

I'd kill for Oblak but that's sadly impossible. I also realize we need to fix the midfield 1st and it will cost. But we also need a starting GK, and if we replace Woj, it's bound we end up spending on there as well. I'm just for the best cost/quality ratio we can get, whatever it is

We semi-agree.

I just say buy new GK if we fix our midfield (with two, not one player), if we buy a left back, and fix our forward line. When we do that, fine, go buy a new GK. But I would not be happy to see a :gsol: free :gsol: Dollarumma here who'd earn 10+ mln per season which would make him our first or second highest earner in the squad :lol2: that's just pathetic. If that happens then Dybala easily deserves 15, but other players also deserve more and they should riot if that happens because Dolla does not deserve it.
