So then what are you saying? He's one of the top goalies in Italy and when contract negotiations came up he asked for what he believes he was worth. Every player does that you know like Dybala is doing now. A mercenary is one who whores himself out with no allegiance meanwhile Gigio for the most part tried to stay at Milan

If he actually believes he's worth more than every player at Juve bar Cristiano Ronaldo, he's even more stupid than he looks.

The top goalies in Italy don't make 10 million. That's exactly the point. He's reaching and being a major ass while Milan is offering him a well paid contract.

9.5 mil a year isn't too goalie in the world money
Szczesny is Serie A's most expensive goalie at 6,5 mil. That dude is asking for 10 million.

If we sell Szczesny, he'll actually make 3 times as much as the second best paid goalie in Italy; Handanovic at 3,2 mil.

And to put it in perspective; besides Ibra, he's the highest earner at Milan. The third in line, Rebic makes 3,5 mil. Again, he's asking 3 times as much.

We already pay a lot more than other teams in Serie A for the leading players, even if you remove Ronaldo. That is because we are supposed to be competing on an even level with top European clubs.

Would you sign him or just keep Woj? Or sign someone else who would be cheaper but still classy, like Musso?

Would rather pay that much for Donna than what Dybala is currently asking for

Isnt Perin having a great season btw?
Yes, Perin is Szczesny's level (excluding Szczesny's recent poor form). His problem was the back and shoulder injuries, so a season and a half free of injuries he is back to top form.

He would be a very logical and cheaper choice for us, actually decreasing costs of the squad.

There are also Musso and Cragno that deserve bigger clubs.

Another one that is doing great and linked to big clubs is Audero and he would count as home frown for us.

Donnrumma is better than all of them though, and younger.

I don't think Perin or Audero are the standard we should be aiming for and I'm not convinced either will reach Szczesny's level consistently.

We should be looking to cash in on Perin. He wouldn't be out of place at most Serie A teams and is too valuable/expensive for our bench. Involving him in a swap for Locatelli would be ideal if he'd accept it but his wages will probably be too high.

Opportunities are great and all if they resolve an issue within the team. This one does not. We have glaring issues in this team, and logically you'd want to address those first before u make an unnecessary replacement. Woj is 31, he still has years to play. Errors are part of the game, Dolla knows about them very well.

I think what’s important is building again for the future. We may not necessarily need Dolla right now but looking at the bigger picture for our future. But with Raiola lurking behind him doesn’t give me much confidence.
