Did Nauer stand in the way of buying much needed midfielders for Bayern when that happened? I am not against getting Donnarumma one bit, on the contrary, he is more than welcome but I know what will happen with the midfield mercato afterwards. That's my issue
If we're paying 40-50m for Locatelli/Aouar Donnarumma being here or not does not impact that. Getting Donnarumma for free and then selling Woj for 15-20m would give us a 5-10m loss at most. If that is preventing us from improving the midfield then we didn't have that money in the first place

Get what you mean. However, even if we rescind his contract, the book value is all that matters, which is 70 million.
True, sucks. But I'm still hoping he can show his worth a bit more if surrounded correctly.

Selling Szczesny and giving Dollar a signing fee, the only financial impact we have is a increase in wages probably. But we get a quality boost (Szczesny isn’t that great, he’s good but not world class, Dollar is better IMO), and we could sell Dollar for a lot more in the future.
Not against it. I'm just afraid we haven't got our priorities right again.

Locatelli and De Paul are still not enough to fix our midfield. Then after that we can talk about the wingback situation.

I think they're focusing on Donnarumma first because it’s a cut and dry operation since it won’t involve having to negotiate with another club. I don’t think that necessarily means he’s being prioritized over bigger needs, like the midfield. At least I hope not.

I think the argument people have is that the signing on fee, Raiola fees and wages will take up a large amount of our budget that could be used on areas that need fixing.

And how could we be against the opportunity to ‘steal’ Milan’s golden boy? Explain it please. We just can’t mate
True. 'though I have to say I'm not sold on him being the "next Buffon". He's slightly better than Szczesny, Italian and much younger but also an expensive pain in the ass while we want to slash our budget. He'll effectively be our most expensive player if Ronnie leaves. A goalie...

But I'm all for it if we get at least 2 starting mids.

I hope those fapping to Dollarumma right now don't bitch and moan when Sandro continues to be a passenger for most of our games next season and when the likes of Arthur and Bentancur are stinking up the pitch as usual :shifty:
