I love how a hug from Gigi just seems to make the offending party melt, he looks like he's going to cry.

Anyone else scared he might ruin that pretty face of his on the post?
The ball would explode before his face was ruined. His handsomeness is mightier than all.

Gotta love when licht goes mental.

We have some mental mofos in the team, like Licht, Vucinic and the usual Bonucci with his goofy reactions.

“I don’t like this controversy and it brings out this total inconsistency in the treatment of errors for and against Juventus,” said Buffon.
“This season the only really big mistakes I saw in our favour were against Catania. At times there is an exaggerated pandemonium around these matters. Juventus are used as a shield and an alibi by those who never win.”
Antonio Conte has missed the last four months due to the betting scandal, but his ban has expired and he is back on the bench tomorrow afternoon against Palermo.
“He brings a strong impact on to a team and I’ve rarely seen that in any other Coach. He transmits his rage and sporting ferocity.
“This is a season where we’re going to be in a battle, even if we are the favourites because we have reinforced and started well. This doesn’t mean our victory is to be expected, as that would be a terrible thought to allow. That’s just inviting surprises...”
Buffon also commented on those who put too much pressure on footballers to be role models.
“We need sporting fair play, but I do not take the responsibility of being an educator. Parents can’t just expect me to educate their children.”

Said the contract is only a matter of time away now, he doesn't want to scavenge money. He said he's had an important career and he can go on for another two or three years if he keeps stimulated (thus not taking money from the club), and is considering his own motivation.

Buffon: 'I want a short contract'

Gigi Buffon welcomed back Antonio Conte to the touchline and explained why he does not want a lengthy contract with Juventus.

The Coach made his comeback after the four-month ban expired and was shouting from the bench during the 1-0 win in Palermo.

“Conte’s presence is very important, even before kick-off. He ensures nobody can step on to the field lacking concentration or motivation. That’s practically impossible with Antonio!

“We should’ve been more incisive with our attacks today, but winning is what counts and we achieved that.

“The conditions were not helpful. Believe me, it is not as easy as it looks to be a goalkeeper in the rain when there are very few scoring opportunities, as you have to stay sharp.”

Buffon is in negotiations to renew his contract with Juve, but revealed there are some unexpected problems.

“We are getting close to finalising the deal, but we have to discuss the length, as I would like a short contract.

“I don’t want to take anyone’s money without deserving it. I have had an important career and I think I can continue for another two or three years if I maintain certain motivation and targets. It’s about self-esteem too.”

Its a wise decition. He knows that from now on his form will be an enigma. He will not be a guaranteed first class keeper just because he is Buffon and no one can beat aging.

I feel he wants a short contract just in case something goes wrong with his form or his motivation, to prevent turning into an expensive leech.

I dont see any problem with it really, its a win win, because in case his form keeps or even miraculously improves, he can renew again after a couple years if he feels it, or just retire in all his glory instead of being a crippling legend on the bench with huge salaries.
