Could anyone find any statistic of how many shots vs. goals we concede every match? It seems like Buffon has been very inactive this season, but we still concede goals in those few chances.

“It is not a pleasant defeat,” acknowledged Buffon. “We weren’t used to losing anymore, even if we played well.
“Inter played in an intelligent way and with so much hunger to win, so they deserved the victory. They interpreted the game well with great conviction, so much that they reminded me of Juventus last season.
“They set aside the problems of the past and are now trying to begin again with their Coach to become the title opponents to us and Napoli.
“I did not like our attitude after we went 1-0 up. I don’t understand why we sat there waiting for them outside our own box, we were far too carefree.
“In my view we could’ve dealt with the game differently, but after 15 minutes we just left the initiative to them.
“I think that overall Inter showed they have very clear ideas, knowing what they had to do to win and emerging from our stadium with three points.”

I will be crucified for saying this but I don't really care.

Buffon has been off the pace for the most part this season. Any clear chances on goal invariably end up being goals. The Buffon of the past would pull off superhuman saves in many of these situations.

Gigi will be back.

To be honest, he hasn't really been tested all that much this season until the Inter game. Rusty?

Bollocks.

Unless you can come up with examples of goals he should have prevented, you can't just say he's not making enough saves.

I thought he possibly should have done better on Inter's second goal, but can't think of any other goals I feel he should have prevented this season.

Can't put my finger on it, but he just seems a bit off. Then again I'm not very smart so...

He just doesn't seem to be seeing the ball early at the moment. Usually he'd anticipate the direction of the ball very early and get it right in most instances.

There was a game, I think it was against Chievo, where the player shot, missed the target, and Buffon flew the wrong way too early. Luckily the player missed the target.

On the penalty, he just seemed as though he didn't know what to do, as though he was already resigned to conceding the goal. Having 10 players in front of you showing little hunger plays its part as well.
