he is a damn legend. We already did an awful mistake, the biggest mistake marotta ever did in his career by putting trez to play for another team on our cash. Now you guys are making such a big deal of a few saves that storari put against roma. It is his job, job well done to cover us when buffon is injured. But we cannot sell buffon, we cannot put him in this situation. There is only one numero uno in Juventus and that is Gigi 'Superman' Buffon, the best goalkeeper of the world.

look regardless of buffon's 'legendary status' storari deserves to start, and i can see why storari has come out with that outburst and i dont blame him neither, players who are on form deserve to start i dont see what is so hard to understand.

people were so eager to see trez be dropped, is he not a legend too?
Buffon's legendary status doesn't need apostrophes ;)

like so many times I tell all the Juve haters, and telling them with pride and never ever receiving a comeback from any of them..
"There may be plenty of good players out there, but there is only ONE Superman and He is a Juventino!!!"
He is a LEGEND and he STAYS!!!

We've already had that discussion, and I disagreed with BD. But he shouldn't be jumped on just because he is saying the time of a legend is up and make some money while we can.
He could. If he has a history of stupid opinions on the same topic, he will get jumped on.
There are a lot of people around here who came and got hammered as new boys, but eventually blended into the forum. There's a reason why some don't. This forum might be silly, gay and a lot of other things, but one thing that is not let go easily is stupidity.

Ferri was the first journalist to report Quagliarella's injury.

Federico Ferri- "There's been questions about why Buffon didn't play against Roma. The first is that he withdrew due to mercato discussion."

"That is absolutely false. That's not possible, and it didn't happen. Buffon didn't play for physical reasons."

"I say physical question, because the questions over Buffon isn't necessarily about the fever, but perhaps something else."

"Officially, Buffon was out due to a fever, and the medical staff and his agent confirmed it."

"But on Saturday in the afternoon when the squad was at lunch, Buffon was at the table looking comfortable."

"He trained most of Saturday before withdrawing, and at the final tactics meeting of the players and coach at 6pm, he didn't show."

"At the tactics meeting, Delneri was informed that Buffon would not be available. None of this says he didn't have the flu..."

"But it's a rather sudden withdrawal. The suspicion is that his back flared up during training again."

"It's given that when you talk about Buffon's back, after having surgery, there's a lot of worry and alarms."

"It's evident Juventus would not want to communicate that news."

"There's no confirmation, but I can say that during training in the week, Buffon did have some problems."
