FFS, he has 33 years, he is a GK, and they are already signing him off.......F*** this shit.....when will people realise that, in the present Juventus, even if Messi was to come to Juve tomorrow, he would become and overpaid, choking, mediocare, predictable with bad dribbling abilities player......If you think about it, for a GK, Buffon is in his best years and im sure he wont need long before he returns to his old self....God!

They're not "signing him off". They're saying he's coming back from injury, is off form and that we have a very good back up for him.

he has certainly played a major part in two of our recent losses...storari was one of our strongest players pre christmas, but was treated rather badly by del neri...who first said 'buffon must earn the starting place'...then proceeded to cave in to media pressure and put buffon straight back In...awful management. Why not bench buffon. A decent manager would go for whoever is sharper in training.

Didn't Storari play like shit when Buffon was suspended? How many goals did he let past, like 6 or something?

Stop forming all your opinions from theoffside dude. Check the stats instead. We had Barzagli as CB, no shit we'd concede sooner or later.

Even if BUffon was to loose his both arms and a leg this instance, he would have more right to appear for Juve every single game, till he decides not to play anymore, than 90% of the players in our current team.....

i dont form my opinions from theoffside, but i often agree with them. If a player is doing badly, and we have an alternative, i think he should be dropped for a game. a true pro, which buffon most definitely is, will react positively, force his way, on form and sharpness in training, back into the starting line-up straight away...its a sensitive issue to many, i understand, but i am very much against players literally owning a position in the starting XI, no matter their form, or their sharpness...it demeans the rest of the squad to know no matter how hard they train, fight, and impress when given the chance to make a cameo for the first XI, they are simply never going to dislodge their main competitor for the place. Clubs shouldn't be run like that. Nobody is saying that buffon is finished. And really, its a small matter of interest...as GK is one of the positions we are very well covered in...usually. much more pressing are the fullback positions, the dynamic of the midfield, adding attacking options and creating movement in attack...THOSE are the things to get heated up about...if anything.

Nobody has said 'the problem with our team is buffon' capitano...nobody in our starting XI should be untouchable when we are absolutely atrocious...not just for a week or two, but for more than two months now. Shaking up the first team is one option which surely must be considered. I would be happy to see some of our youth team given more time...especially over the likes of toure...challenging sorensen...and dont we have any natural wingers in the primavera, who could play apprentice/sub for krasic...and share the left wing with pepe???? in attack we are hardly fine and dandy either...

much to do.
