If they know the "best" GK in the world is available my guess is that they'll make an offer. Won't be 50m but I'm sure they'd want Buffon just for the name.

I doubt Chelsea or Barca would pay over the odds for Buffon. Valdes while unsure over his future would love to stay at Barca and will probably get a new contract due to the great displays he's been putting in.

Cech has been playing quite well also.

I don't think it is a matter of convincing him with our transfers... Diego and Cannavaro is an absolute great signing from Buffon's perspective.

I'm afraid he gave up on The Juventus rebuilding project already no matter what we do this summer.

then that would be very foolish of him...we sign a WC winning defender and a sensational young Brazilian playmaker, and he gives up? no way

Well honestly I hope this lights a fire under the ass of our board to do something bc the old guard is getting fed up with promises and unfullfilled rumors probably more than we are. We always act like we are being punished watching these bad players...Imagine playing with them knowing what thay could be doing at another club. Yeah Milan might not be better than us but at least they bring in players to fix there problems. They bought more good players last year than we have in a while so why wouldnt you want a club that gives you what they promise you and want a winning team. This is pathetic and it angers all of us including the players. I dont like Ranieri but Imagine being with him day in and day out.

He will stay, he was delighted we brought back Cannavaro and now with Diego and other reinforcments on their way he will have no reason to leave.

Plus he respects Lippi alot and I think he will also persuade him to stay.

I mean what can Milan give him that we cant?

They are also rebulding and they also said they will have to watch their spending this year.

He was told he could leave if we receive an offer of 40m €+.

Again, the team is meelan and we'd probably get Abbiati in return or just get cash and buy Marchetti.

GREAT NEWS!!!

Gigi on TV said that he went to see our board and said when are we gonna start winning? If I have to wait a year ok, if it's 3-4 then there's a problem. He then says they assured him they'll win fast and build a very good squad. He also said he's happy about Cannavaro and Diego. He's also expecting another big signing. He then goes by defending his manager...

"I'M STAYING!"

FORZA GIGI!!!

Props for getting our board to act and make things happen. :mark:
