wow, these guys are either corrupt or just plain stupid. looking at ALL the statistics, it is actually clear that oliver kahn has had much for success than buffon and buffon is overrated. if dida can be a star goalie in serie a then wut do other italian goalkeepers show for playing in the serie a? epl and la liga have the best goalkeepers because of the amazing stats even with the best forwards in the world. a list of goalkeepers who are SO MUCH BETTER than buffon are; kahn, schmeichel (peter, and casper is getting there very soon), weidenfeller, casillas, hildebrand, frey, landreau, coupet, van der sar, james, cech, and the list goes on and on and ON! buffon is overrated because people who do not know football think hes amazing. its funny when you go to see videos of buffon saves and all the shots are right at him or next to him, no top corner saves. sometimes people put clips where buffon doesnt even touch the ball because they dont have enough clips to make a decently long video compilation. Whereas goalkeeprs like cech have clip after clip after clip in hundreds of video compilations of amazing saves. in the last 20 years the goalkeeper with the BEST STATS is oliver kahn, the IFFHS are idiots because im looking at the stats and it is so clear that kahn has surpassed buffon in stats and accomplishments.
