While I'm not a Iaquinta fan at least the management is moving in the right direction and doing the right thing to try and convince the big guns to stay.
Do you think bringing Iaquinta will convince our big guns to stay?!
our big guns need to see players in Juve who can step up the level of the current Juve...
I dont think Iaquinta is one of those players

Have anyone asked our current stars who they want our management to bring in for next season so they will be satisfied once for all. All we hear that they want some big guns , who are they ? who they want ?

It was Milito and Hunter I was referring to rather than Iaquinta.

Buffon bids farewell

Juventus are back in Serie A, but Gianluigi Buffon hints he probably won’t be staying in Turin for that debut.

“I will tell you one thing – this party has to remain in my history and that of Juventus, because it is worth more than a Scudetto,” said the goalkeeper.

For several months now he has been cagey about his future, noting that had the Calciopoli demotion not occurred he would have already moved on seeking 'new adventures.’

With Milan and Inter lining up to take him on, the World Cup winner’s comments after the 5-1 victory at Arezzo had a feel of farewell about them.

“I dedicate this promotion to the people who convinced me to stay. As for the future, no, this is not the time to talk about it. We’ll discuss the matter in a few weeks.”

Buffon’s contract runs until 2011, but it’s believed there was a verbal agreement between the club and goalkeeper freeing him if he helped them to climb out of Serie B.

He was the Bianconeri’s all-time biggest signing at £32m from Parma in 2001 and was runner-up in the Ballon d’Or this year behind former Juve teammate Fabio Cannavaro.

Maybe he genuinely hasn't decided and wants to wait and hear the transfer strategy and see what offers he gets before deciding.

not gigi :(
if the board do seel him we have to get a good. no great replacement. Cech or Cassilas would be acceptable.
Lets be more realistic, Michael. Why for God's sake either of Cech or Casillas would accept to join us? :wallbang:

A management that isn't able to keep the club's big guns will only be able to persuade average or slightly above average players to sign for Juve, and mark my words.
