So you'd like to absolve Marotta of any responsibility now, do you? We need to push harder. What you're trying to do is find excuses, so that when Marotta inevitably fails, you can give him a pat on the back, and say "hey, you tried, but I guess it wasn't good enough." Typical loser and defeatist mentality.

Dzeko is a 4'th choice striker @ City, RVP might potentially be on his way out, and Jovetic has allegedly/reportedly agreed terms with us (now the clubs need to agree on a fee). I'm not saying any of these deals are easy to pull off, but by no means are they impossible. I'm not a sporting director, and it's obviously not my job to conduct such deals, but u'd assume a top director @ a top club should be able to deliver, particularly as we have an interesting project, a new stadium, and have recently been crowned Serie A champs after an undefeated run in the league.

Do you know what the budget is? I highly doubt 4-5 million Euros would kill a club like Juventus tho. We are not friggin Albinoleffe or Castel Di Sangro FFS!

We already got the mechanics set. We produce plenty of scoring opportunities. We got wingbacks, midfielders and supporting strikers that all fit into our system well and when playing good put an immense pressure on the opposing backline. Now to the issue of last season: Lack of goals. This is where Pazzini gets relevant. Being a better poacher than Matri I see Pazzini as a decent signing. Do I prefer Dzeko or Van Persie? Of course. But if Pazzini is the best poacher available, I'm all for signing him.

It's not Pazzini vs. Van Persie/Dzeko. It's Pazzini vs. Matri/Quag.
