Maybe just based on their behavior.

Otherwise it would be retarded to put them next to each other.
He did say it. Pazzini has developed in a really weird way as well. When he was still considered a young talent, he was raw and missed easy chances regularly, but he was very good with the ball at his feet. Instead of becoming a second striker he developed into a poacher, who spends very little time with the ball at his feet.

I hope he doesn't come on the expense of David Trezeguet. If he is to come then one of Amauri or Iaquinta but not David.
Indeed. It would be great if Amauri is the one to get in that deal, him going to Doria will do him good as they wont change their 4-4-2 formation now not after it got them the CL and since they're there they are capable of paying his wages.

He's good, young and Italian, but is this really as papers say our "main" transfer target?? if so we're going B again
I hope he'd be in exchange for Iaquinta or Amauri + cash or both, but not a 20M deal or anything like that, we could spend them a lot better

The problem I see with signing Pazzini is that Samp seem to want Giovinco in exchange. If we are playing with wingers next season why not keep Giovinco?

And 20mil is excessive for our limited budget.

Doesn't feel right...anway about our budget, we should look for player + cash deals, that will ease the cost significantly...and the rumours are ranging from 80-150 mil. :shifty:

We will have to use the players we don't need wisely to bring down transfer costs. How wisely our board is able to sell players will be just as important this summer.

That budget seems quite high after the 25mil we are expected to lose from missing out on 4th place.

What doesn't feel right about my name?

So we can waste more time chasing unrealistic options then knee jerk and quickly sign some shit player? I would love to sign Dzeko but 40mil is just to much money and Benzema would have to accept a huge wage cut.
Are we really in a rush to sign Pazzini? How can we never get good players to join us if we don't try. I see no reason to accept mediocrity just to get someone fast. We already did it with Del Neri, we shouldn't do it with players anymore. Otherwise we will be just that, a mediocre team.

Have you seen Pazzo's goalscoring record with Samp?! No way you can call that mediocre.

:agree: Pazzini may disappoint some of the posters here but he is not a mediocre player by any means. We can't afford the very best so we settle for the very good.

Under the right system Pazzini could be a huge success in this team and the manager already knows his style and strengths.
