When he was still considered a young talent, he was raw and missed easy chances regularly, but he was very good with the ball at his feet. The problem I see with signing Pazzini is that Samp seem to want Giovinco in exchange. If we are playing with wingers next season why not keep Giovinco?

And 20mil is excessive for our limited budget.

We will have to use the players we don't need wisely to bring down transfer costs. How wisely our board is able to sell players will be just as important this summer.

That budget seems quite high after the 25mil we are expected to lose from missing out on 4th place.

Are we really in a rush to sign Pazzini? How can we never get good players to join us if we don't try. I see no reason to accept mediocrity just to get someone fast. We already did it with Del Neri, we shouldn't do it with players anymore. Otherwise we will be just that, a mediocre team.

Pazzini may disappoint some of the posters here but he is not a mediocre player by any means. We can't afford the very best so we settle for the very good.

Under the right system Pazzini could be a huge success in this team and the manager already knows his style and strengths.
