News from Bayern
Toni and Lahm will have to pay for what they've done.
Who missed it, here is what happened: Club vice-captain Philipp Lahm gave an unauthorized interview in which he criticized the Club, the Coach and his Teammates.
I just quote the rules he broke:
1) Interviews must be exclusively requested and organised by the club, and submitted to the player for authorisation. This is stipulated by contract and confirmed by every player.
2) Voicing criticism of the club, the coach and team-mates in public is absolutely forbidden at all times.
Lahm will be punished with a fine heavier than any levied before by FC Bayern Munich.
Luca Toni was subbed at Halftime during the match against Schalke and he seemed to be so pissed that he just jumped in his car and drove home. The Club calls this a "unacceptable breach of club discipline" and will levy a substantial fine.
