Can anyone link me to Petric's goal against Stuttgart? Supposedly, it was a rocket that went 123 km/h.

Hehe, in Latvia some of the matches are for free, while some cost around 4 euros, and even the football quality isn't that bad, the problem is that we have terrible stadiums with really terrible stands and football public ain't better. But one of our clubs still are competing in Europa League against Hertha Berlin right know (50 000 average attendance against <1000), while our national team few years ago played in Portugal 2004 and right now is about to kick out Greece from the WC qualification.

He looks good so far.
It's his first season were he actually plays with the first team. Last year he got 10 minutes here and there in the last games but normaly played in the second team.
He's young but looks very promising.
He has a great finish and a good ball control. He plays simple and smart from what I've seen. No useless circles but powerfull shots and a eye for the partner.

Agreed with SAB on Muller, looks promising with a good amount of confidence and football intelligence with it. He has a wicked right foot. Won't be long before he is given a run with the NT.

How about Badbuster(spelling)? impressions about him? He looks like a young Merterascker from the few games i've seen but with a bit more speed however weaker in positioning.

Badstuber, and he's starting over Breno, that should tell you something.

Well they weren't playing the best football last year but they had a good defense. They were awful actually and I even remember when they asked Uli Honess about their title credentials he completely dismissed them even though they were tough and on top.

Anyway Mr.Matthaues is linked to the job, so it will be interesting because he is one hell of a character.

Didn't see much of Breno but he seemed alright and still don't see the huge potential ( which is not that bad for a defender).

We'll see how Badstuber goes this season.

They didn't play awefull last season. They were playing Italian football. They had a great wall with Simunic and Friedrich. They just played brutal efficient. Give the ball to Voronin he will score and the rest was defending. It was not nice but efficent. And they were League leader for a long period and were close to become Champion but didn't had the breath in the end.

Badstuber, Müller, Kroos, Hummels, they are all from Gerlands youth school and made their way to the first teams and to starters very very fast.
