Yes. Guy Demel wasn't quick enough to close him down and Rozenhal proves why he played for Newcastle at some point in his career. Jérôme Boateng did well to isolate Robben on his flank. And speaking of which, that's the different between Glassman and Franck Ribéry imo, at the end of the day F7R gives you the goal that wins the game.

Demel closed him down okay. The problem was that he made it too easy for Ribery to cut inside, when he should have forced him to go on the outside.

Ribery is certainly a level or two above Robben, and there is no doubt he is a great player.

However, I think Bayern looked better as a team when Ribery was injured they were playing Olic instead.

When Ribery leaves, if Bayern spend the money wisely, they could become a serious force in European football again, because they aren't lacking very much.
